Discovering our purpose at Blossom Haven and Co was a journey rooted in the want to cultivate connection and community. As founders, Kyra and Morgan, we embarked on this venture with the intention of creating spaces that apply the power of experiences and celebrations through human connection. Our decade-long friendship has been filled with both milestones and hardships, and this shared history has strengthened our belief in the profound impact of genuine connections. The essence of our purpose is grounded in the idea that people thrive when surrounded by environments that encourage and facilitate meaningful connections. Our own connection serves as a foundation, enabling us to lean on one another through various life experiences. This mutual support not only validates but also drives our mission to help others foster connections in their lives.

At Blossom Haven and Co, we’ve crafted a niche as a luxury picnic event decor business, driven by the passion to foster connections through aesthetically pleasing events. Our focus extends to various occasions, be it bachelorette parties, birthdays, girl get-togethers, weddings, or intimate date nights. What sets us apart is our commitment to tailoring each event uniquely to our clients, collaborating closely to bring their visions to life. What excites us most about our work is the ability to create memorable experiences that go beyond the ordinary. We believe in the transformative power of a thoughtfully curated event space, where aesthetics play a pivotal role in setting the tone for meaningful connections. Our goal is to go beyond conventional event planning and provide a personalized touch that resonates with the essence of our clients.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three pivotal qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have significantly influenced our success are creativity, time management, and empathy.
Creativity plays a central role in setting our business apart, allowing us to think outside the box and bring unique ideas to life. From crafting distinctive event concepts to designing aesthetically pleasing spaces, creativity fuels our passion for delivering unforgettable experiences.
Effective time management has been crucial in balancing our business with full-time jobs. Juggling multiple responsibilities demands a keen sense of prioritization and organization to ensure each aspect of our business receives the attention it deserves.

Empathy has been fundamental in laying the foundation for meaningful connections with our clients. Building deep connections goes beyond creating beautiful events; it involves understanding our clients’ visions and emotions. Connecting with our clients on a personal level has made our business special, as we go beyond just executing an event.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
Our primary obstacle at the moment is transforming our business into a year-round venture. The challenge lies in weather constraints, particularly during the colder months, which inhibit us from hosting outdoor events. To overcome this hurdle, we’re actively collaborating with event spaces and organizations such as Fabletics to organize community-centered events in indoor settings. By having these opportunity to include luxury picnics and event decor year-round, we’re expanding our business while navigating around weather-related limitations. This strategic approach allows us to adapt to changing seasons and ensure a consistent flow of events throughout the year.
