Hi LaCreasha , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Finding my purpose in becoming an interior decorator may have been a combination of various factors, such as my passion for design, my creative eye for aesthetics, my desire to help others beautify their living spaces, or simply my natural talent for decorating. Reflecting on my own interests, skills, and experiences may have led me to realize that interior decorating truly resonates with me and fulfills a deeper sense of purpose or calling. Ultimately, following my heart and pursuing what brings me joy and fulfillment can be key in discovering my purpose in this career path. As a child, I adored touring model homes; it felt like stepping into another dimension and filled my heart with joy. The knack for interior decor runs in my family—my mother and grandmother have always had a keen eye for it. I started taking on small projects for friends and acquaintances in my spare time without giving it much thought. It wasn’t until people began encouraging me to turn my passion into a business that I seriously considered it. With the support of God and my loved ones, I launched my interior decorating business on August 4th, 2021. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing my clients’ faces light up when they walk into their newly transformed homes. Bringing their visions to life and creating spaces that transport them to another dimension brings me immense joy. So, let’s work together to decorate your lifestyle, one space at a time.

As an interior decorating company, we specialize in transforming living spaces into stunning and functional environments that reflect our clients’ unique styles and personalities. What’s most exciting about our work is the opportunity to turn our clients’ visions into reality, creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also enhance their everyday lives.

What sets our brand apart is our commitment to personalized service and attention to detail. We take the time to understand our clients’ needs, preferences, and budget constraints to deliver tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.

In terms of new developments, we’re thrilled to announce that we will soon be expanding our team of talented designers to better serve our growing clientele.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
* Adaptability: In a constantly evolving field like interior decorating, being adaptable is crucial. Styles, trends, and client preferences change over time, so it’s essential to stay flexible and open-minded. My ability to adapt to new challenges, technologies, and client needs has been key to my success. Advice: Embrace change and continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attend workshops or seminars, and be willing to experiment with new techniques and ideas. * Curiosity: Curiosity fuels creativity and innovation. It’s what drives me to explore new design concepts, materials, and techniques. By staying curious, I’m able to push boundaries, discover unique solutions, and keep my work fresh and exciting. Advice: Never stop asking questions and seeking inspiration. Explore different design styles, study architecture, art, and cultural influences, and always be on the lookout for new sources of inspiration. Stay curious about the world around you, and let that curiosity fuel your creativity.
* Persistence: Success in interior decorating often requires perseverance and resilience. Projects can be complex, timelines may shift, and obstacles are inevitable. However, it’s important to stay focused, determined, and resilient in the face of challenges. Advice: Develop a strong work ethic and don’t be discouraged by setbacks. Break big projects into manageable tasks, stay organized, and maintain clear communication with clients and collaborators. Celebrate your successes, no matter how small, and learn from your failures to continuously improve.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
As a business owner and interior decorator, my biggest area of growth and improvement in the past 12 months has been in client communication and project management. I’ve recognized the importance of clear and consistent communication with clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met throughout the entire design process. By implementing better systems for tracking project progress, timelines, and budget, I’ve been able to streamline operations and deliver projects more efficiently. This focus on communication and project management has not only improved client satisfaction but has also contributed to the overall success and growth of my business.
