Meet LaDonna Walker

We recently connected with LaDonna Walker and have shared our conversation below.

Hi LaDonna, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I got my work ethic from my mom. At an early age she use to wake my sister and I up early on Saturday mornings about . 7 am to wash wall , clothes and do any other chore. Those Saturday morning chores taught me as an adult to show up in time , be nice and neat and keep everything in place

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m a Licensed Cosmetologist and I also have a few of my own hair products.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back 3 areas of knowledge that I have learned over the years were to be focused at all times no matter what comes your way .

Secondly , use your time wisely and prepare ahead of time

Lastly, Always do your best.

Any advice I would give it’s never too late in life to choose a career or have a passion for anything. It’s your life so live it

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed. I take a moment take a deep breath . Get into a quiet room or area . If I have a lot of stuff to do or have a lot going on . I take the biggest thing that needs to be done do it first then ,work my way all the way back down to the smallest thing that has to be done
