Meet Laelanie Larach Contemporary Artist in Miami

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Laelanie Larach. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Laelanie below.

Laelanie , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
I always like to be creative and innovative when I’m creating a new art collection, sometimes my design changes to a coastal art style or a more contemporary technique. I’m always innovating with colors or techniques; in my case I like to use vibrant bold colors in my artwork because it reflects my Hispanic background and is fun to use bright happy colors! All my paintings are colorful with a coastal art style around ocean waves, butterflies or palm trees with vibrant colors.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m a self-taught artist born in Honduras a beautiful country located in Central America, that gave me a lot of inspiration behind my artistic journey. At a young age I began painting with oils and my design was traditional, using earth colors and landscapes inspired by mountains and oceans, as the years passed my technique changed with brighter colors and the design in my artwork is more abstract and modern.

My main goal was always to have my art gallery in Miami and sell the paintings directly to art collectors from around the world. Laelanie Art Gallery is the name of the gallery and is fun to see my dream came true and always creating original oil paintings with vibrant tropical colors that will light up any home interior with my colorful paintings.

Right now, I have a nice art collection of coastal paintings and abstract with palm trees, ocean waves and butterflies! They are colorful paintings with bright colors that will look stunning on a home interior that needs a nice art collection of colorful fine art.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I never give up and I’m always pushing myself to create more paintings with different art styles and techniques. The key is always to be persistent in your goal and always be unique when you are painting, let your creativity flow and good things will come in your journey.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client is someone that understands the meaning of my artwork and loves a lot my colorful Caribbean art style. My paintings are loaded with colors with a unique art style along with details that make them exclusive to art buyers.
