Lamar, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
Honestly I just take everything one day at a time. I truly believe I was blessed to be inspired by life. I can look or see something and just create from there. There is no limitations to my creative side. Everything inspires me to create.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m an entrepreneur. I own my own clothing brand. One of the most exciting things about my brand is seeing people happy wearing it. I feel that’s a priceless feeling seeing others happy in my merchandise. My brand name is Take Flight Empire LLC. It’s a urban/Streetwear brand that specializes in custom t shirts, jogging suits and much more. Soon we plan to have webinars, collaborations with many people and companies and also franchising in many states.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Best advice that I received was to stay consistent. Pay attention to nobody else but yours. Best advice I can give is to always remember no matter what that everything happens the way it’s suppose to.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
Currently is building a solid team. I feel nobody is truly successful without a team. Whether if it’s someone helping with marketing. Someone designing. Someone in finances etc. One of my biggest challenges is keeping a consistent team.
