Meet Lameshia Conley

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lameshia Conley. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with LaMeshia below.

Hi LaMeshia, so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?

Imagine getting into business and all the personal development gurus say you have to pull nighters to please your audience. Imagine getting into business and because you want to save money on business expenses you do everything yourself. So, because you lack skills in most areas including graphic design, web design, or tax accounting you do it yourself to save money. All of these attitudes attribute to a mindset. It affects personal money mindset, personal lifestyle sqeezes and a perfectionist attitude.

Say you are a mom and you have to learn new skills to get the jobs done. You stay up all night, go work a 9-5, cook and clean the house, take care of kids well being but never take time for yourself. This is self sabotage because you believe you don’t work you don’t get paid. This is also attributed to a poor money mindset. You have no way to make money unless you sell something or you are clocked in.

I have come to realize burn out is not the way we were set up to live. We weren’t created to live, eat, drink, and sleep in the grave. We need sleep right now. I have come to realize how powerful it is and how much more creative I am when I finally began to work from a place of rest.

I am a woman of faith and I found out that Psalm 23 is more than a poem. It is really showing us what it’s like to live in abundance. When I take care of myself I take care of others. This has impacted my life, my business, and my whole outlook on my goals. I no longer strive to become a millionaire. This is happening because I practice self care, being alone, and regenerating my creative energy. Money is also energy and the more I make the more energy I have.

I have realized making money is also self care because of the options I have so I make it priority to make money daily instead of every two weeks. I have found ways to make money while I’m sleep and do it using less energy. I have more clarity when I am not in survival mode. I have more peace when I am not worried where my next dollar is coming from. I found myself giving more when I didn’t even know I had it to give.

Psalm 23 has taught me how to work from a place of rest to actually be able to give more. There is more than enough for us all. No need to hustle, grind or stay up all night.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am Coach LC, your money mindset coach. I coach high performing women leaders especially those in ministry to shift their mindset about how to think about money. I will be having a devotional releasing soon but right now the preview can be found in the Facebook group. It’s a revised PDF version that will help begin transform minds about what wealth really is and how to cease the scarcity mindset.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I am grateful for the woman who let me know I had no business boundaries once I refunded her. I leveled up quickly and I took on ownership of my business. I am grateful for others who showed me how to do business with integrity and set up processes so that customer satisfaction can be top tier. I am grateful for all the ones I allowed to charge them a couple hundred dollars for work that really cost thousands. You let me to get the experience I can showcase to prove why my price is my price and there is nothing you can do about it.

My mentor helped me fully understand emotional intelligence. My spiritual mother helped me grow astronomically in my faith.

I also thank my communities for allowing me to bounce off them to help me grow in my communication and showcasing ideas.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am looking to collaborate with individuals who have a podcast or blog. I want people who are powerhouses and those making a difference in their communities. I want growth mindset type of people. If you are reading this please email me or reach out on social @lameshianicole
