Meet LaRon Santiago

We were lucky to catch up with LaRon Santiago recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi LaRon , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
Growing up I seen how my parents & grandparents worked really hard to give their children a better life, that molded me to want more in life, and to work harder and be the best at what I do, it taught me not to give up, because if you give up on your goals & dreams you’re giving up on yourself

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Since 2018 my brother & I decided to launch a luxury clothing brand, to specialize in men & woman clothing, by 2023 we decided to come up with a name which can not be mentioned until all legal matters is settled for trademark, so everything will be launched by 2024, In 2003 I majored in Fashion Design at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, Fashion was my first love before music, I was always infatuated with putting looks together and ordering Vogue & Harpers Bazaar Magazine’s, my favorite designers at the time was Donna Karen, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Valentino & Yves Saint Laurent, my love for fashion will never leave, when you’re in love with fashion, you breath it, you wake up thinking about it, it becomes part of your life, putting together outfits become natural, it’s something that can’t be taught, it’s already in you

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The best skills to have for anything you want to do in life I learned is to never give up, you want to stay consistent & also you have to be discipline, without discipline you won’t get far in life, In life there is never a perfect moment or playing the waiting game, just do it!! Strive for your goals even when your struggling, that’s part of the journey, you build character & you learn from your mistakes but you get up & keep going

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m looking to collaborate with talented people, especially musicians! who love all types of music, not afraid to try new sounds, I’ve been recording music for 19 years now and it’s an amazing feeling seeing how far I’ve come and the growth with my talent as a songwriter , I would love to grow with someone making new music & sharing stories about our lives through music
