Meet Larry Joseph

We recently connected with Larry Joseph and have shared our conversation below.

Larry, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I believe my resilience was instilled in me by my dad. Mainly the reason is from hearing the stories he shared from his childhood of coming from another country and having a rough upbringing. This shows me how fortunate and that advantages shouldn’t be taken for granted.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Well, I’d say I’m just another photographer that’s been creating for about 8 months now. The most exciting thing for me is the endless amount of learning there is on a skill and personal level. Photography has also connected me with people who I’ve learned countless amount of lessons from through their unique worldly perspectives. In the near future, I’m hoping to aid brands find their voice which will in turn help me find my voice in the photography space.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I can say number one seek out a mentor in the area you want to develop a skill set in, it can be one of the most eye-opening experiences. Number 2 two links back to number one. The quality of being open-minded—can be what shapes your outlook and aid how you access different situations. Number 3 trust your intuition it builds up the confidence within you.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
I can honestly say The Secret by Rhonda Bryne, it’s of the most quintessential books you’ll ever read in my opinion. The main reason is that shifts a limiting belief mindset to one of endless opportunities. A couple of nuggets of wisdom from the book would be to focus on abundance and realize that you are the creator of your own reality.
