Meet Latasha Burger

We recently connected with Latasha Burger and have shared our conversation below.

Latasha, so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.

I’ve learned to shift my perspective on haters and nay-sayers. I’ve realized that often, their negativity isn’t truly about me, it reflects their own fears, insecurities, or frustrations. Sometimes they project their self-doubt onto others, or they’re simply envious of the courage it takes to pursue what I’m doing. Instead of letting it discourage me, I embrace their presence from the sidelines and keep moving forward, focused on my goals.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m the owner of A Spiritual Key Essential. I’m an intuitive reader, healer, and spiritual coach who helps people heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level. My journey started after going through my own healing process. I experienced loss, major life changes (job loss, vehicle repossessed, moved back to my hometown), and moments that really pushed me to rediscover who I was. That transformation led me to help others do the same.

What makes my brand unique is that it’s built on real experience and authenticity. Everything I share whether it’s a reading, a video, or a workshop comes from a place of truth and compassion. My goal is to create a safe space for people to release old energy, understand their purpose, and step into alignment with who they’re meant to be. Right now, I’m focused on expanding my business with spiritual baths, t-shirts, and home cleansing kits to help people maintain balance in their everyday lives.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are resilience, self-awareness, and the willingness to keep learning. Resilience has helped me stay focused even when things were challenging or uncertain. Self-awareness has allowed me to understand my strengths, my patterns, and when to adjust my approach. And a willingness to keep learning has kept me open to new ideas, tools, and perspectives that have pushed me forward.

For anyone early in their journey, I’d say: embrace challenges as opportunities to grow rather than obstacles. Develop self-awareness through reflection, journaling, or seeking feedback from people you trust. And commit to continuous learning; read, ask questions, and surround yourself with people who inspire growth. These three together create a foundation that can carry you through any journey.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

The number one challenge I’m currently facing is sales, getting people to book readings, and purchase my products. While I know the value of what I offer, reaching the right people and helping them see that value can be difficult. To overcome this, I’m focusing on building authentic connections with my audience, sharing more of my story and expertise, and offering experiences that allow people to feel the impact of my work. For example, I provide free readings online via YouTube and TikTok, so people can experience my approach firsthand before booking a session or purchasing a product. I’m also exploring creative ways to make my offerings more accessible and engaging, so people feel confident and excited to invest in themselves through my services.
