Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to LaTasha Crusoe-Rogers. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
LaTasha , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
When I was a little girl, my grandmother told me that the doctor’s said I would not make it past one years old. My grandmother introduced me to Christ when I was 7 years old. When I was in my forties, I took a spiritual gift test and it said ministry. I took that test twice and it said the same thing. I knew that the Lord called me to do something more for his kingdom. at first, I can say I was in denial, because I wasn’t sure if he was actually calling me. I was like Joanah running from calling until about a year ago. Growing up I faced many challenges, and I didn’t understand the calling that God had on my life until I was older. I always enjoyed going to church, revivals, vacation bible school ect. The challenges that I have faced has helped me be the person I am today. I know that God is faithful and just.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I received my evangelist license in February of 2025 I preached my first sermon on Mother’s Day called Will you trust me? I am a member of Diplomate legacy Church under the leadership of Pastor Chad Mitchel. The first time I was very nervous as time went on, I got better. This fall I will launch my podcast called Everyday Life with Tea. mission statement is Matthew 19:26“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Starting this podcast and becoming an evangelist was never anything I imagined I would be doing. The purpose of the podcast is to reach people and tell them about the love of God. I will talk about everyday life situations and introduce people to God. I will have guest speakers that will help educate people about resources. Jeremaih 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I am excited to see where the Lord will take my ministry. This fall I will launch my podcast Everydaylifewithtea.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My three qualities are I am a good listener, compassionate and loving. My best advice that I have for folks is that I would say follow your dreams and look to God for your path. Always look to seek God. Romans 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. I gave my life to the Lord at an early age then I turned from God then I came back to him in 2010. that was the best decision I ever made. Surround yourself with people who love the Lord just as much as you do. Don’t let anyone stop you from achieving your goals wait on the Lord and he will send your husband or wife to you. I have worked in the medical field for the past 26 years and I love taking care of people. The job I loved the most was working for a hospice company.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My mother and grandparents helped me out the most. My grandparents introduced me to the Lord; my mom went through a lot when I was growing up. She showed me how to be strong and don’t let your circumstances keep your from achieving your goals. I was taught that forgiveness is not for the other person but for you. When you hold unforgiveness in your heart you cannot grow in the Lord. My mom was born in the 50’s to a German dad and an African American mother, back in that time interracial relationships was not as common as today.
