We were lucky to catch up with Latoya Foster recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Latoya, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My mom Helen Collie, Step father Bobby Reed, my sister ObTashia Brewer, and my brother Roderick Reed is where I get my resilience and will to never give up from
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m the owner of Blessed Hands Mobile Healthcare Blessed Hands CPR Training Center
Blessed Hands Phlebotomy a Medical Trade School and College
Lifeline Scrubs and medical accessories
What’s makes everything so special is I can teach students life skills through trades in the medical field and hire some of them after they receive their certification.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My advice. Always keep God first. The one thing nobody else has is you! Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. Remain humble and stay true to yourself!
Three qualities.. Your character means everything!
Anything you want won’t come easy, put in the work. Early mornings late nights.
Integrity and dedication
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My biggest area of growth. As I’ve been building my team knowing iron sharpens iron, and there’s absolutely no way I can do any of this without them. The people around me, they’re the ones that make Blessed Hands the company it’s growing into becoming!
