Meet LaToya Perry

We recently connected with LaToya Perry and have shared our conversation below.

Hi LaToya, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I developed my confidence and self-esteem through my faith, intentional healing, and choosing to believe what God says about me over what the world tried to label me as. There were seasons where I had to rebuild from the inside out releasing old narratives, affirming myself through scripture, and showing up even when I didn’t feel ‘ready.’ My confidence grew every time I took a bold step despite fear, and every time I saw God meet me there. It’s been a journey of aligning my mindset with my purpose, and now I help other women do the same.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a faith-fueled mindset and visibility coach helping women entrepreneurs show up boldly, grow their audience, and attract aligned opportunities without the hustle, burnout, or overwhelm.

What makes this work so special to me is watching women finally own their voice and walk in confidence, not just in business but in who God created them to be. There’s something powerful about helping someone dismantle self-doubt, align with their purpose, and realize that faith and success are not opposites they’re partners.

Through my brand, I offer digital resources, faith-based coaching, and community spaces like The Girl Boss Vault, where mindset, strategy, and spirit meet. Everything I create is designed to help women rise rooted in truth, led by purpose, and ready to be seen.

Right now, I’m especially excited about my new “Faith to 5K Prayer Journal”, a 7-day guided journal to help women activate faith in their finances.

I’m also expanding my coaching series with “Mindset Reset” a powerful small group experience focused on helping women break past limiting beliefs and reclaim their voice.

At the heart of it all, my mission is to remind women that they were called to build and they never have to do it alone.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three most impactful parts of my journey have been faith, resilience, and clarity of purpose.

Faith grounded me especially in the moments where the results didn’t reflect the vision I was holding. It reminded me that God’s timing is perfect, even when mine feels delayed. Resilience kept me going when doubt crept in or when the path felt unclear. And clarity of purpose helped me align everything I do. My content, my offers, and even my boundaries with the bigger mission I’ve been called to.

For those just getting started: stay rooted in your “why,” build a consistent relationship with God, and give yourself permission to grow. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. Let your faith lead the way and take bold, aligned action even if it feels scary. You’re not behind you’re being built.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

God has been the most foundational part of my journey truly my source of strength, clarity, and confidence. Every time I faced a challenge or felt unsure, my faith reminded me that I’m not building alone. God has guided me through every pivot, every stretch, and every breakthrough with grace.

But I also have to honor my husband and kids, who have been my biggest cheerleaders and my “why.” My husband has supported me through late nights, big dreams, and moments of doubt. His belief in me even when I questioned myself has meant everything. And my children inspire me to keep showing up boldly and to build something that shows them what’s possible when you lead with faith and purpose.

I’ve also been blessed by mentors and coaches who modeled what it looks like to lead with both heart and strategy. Their transparency and wisdom helped me grow, not just as a business owner but as a woman, wife, and mom.

Success for me isn’t just about the results it’s about the legacy I’m creating with the people who matter most, and the God who called me to it.
