Meet Latricia Taylor

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Latricia Taylor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Latricia , so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?
Self-Care is very important to me because its connected to self-love. To ensure I am able to get the right amount self-care I established a at home routine and a social connection routine. My home is my place of peace and sanctuary. I created spaces in my home that I am able to relax & block out any negative energy. So I am selective on who can come into my home.

My at home routine consists of a Sunday Self-care day. During the day I allow myself to sleep in and stay in bed to relax my body, mind & soul. Through out the day I treat myself to my favorite snacks, favorite shows or listen to music. Before bed I take a nice hot bath, with candles glass of wine, continue with a full facial routine as well.

My social routine is one a month getting with some awesome ladies for Brunch to have some girls time together to talk about all things girly.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a personable Real Estate Agent, professional and committed to my customers. I am dedicated to helping others and I use that passion in my real estate business as well. I am committed to serving my customers with a smile while helping them navigate the home buying or home selling process. I have created a network of lenders and more to provide my customers with the best experience possible.

Your home is your sanctuary therefore, it’s important to purchase tge best home for you and your family needs. I work with customers to make that happen the Taylormade way.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three most important qualities I think a person should know when pursuing their career early in their journey.

1) Understand YOU – know what you like and what you don’t like. Remember if like it enough to do it for free, then most often your able to get paid for it.

2) Be intentional about what your doing. Remember it’s your journey, your life so tale it serious and do the work needed to make it happen. Dreams do come 2 Reality!

3) find you a mentor in the field your focus on. The right mentor can make a major difference in your professional and personal life.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
The biggest area of growth for me is stepping outside my comfort zone and interacting more with others in my field. As an introvert by natural I did not know at first how I could be successful at building my business

As I got started, I realize I love the interactions with my customers and being able to help them buy their first home or even sell their home to purchase their dream home.

Therefore, over the past year I dedicated a few dats a week to meeting one new person and conversing with them. Introducing myself and not being afraid to share about me.

I wear so many hats professionally but often I am scared to share my accomplishments with others. i had to get over the fear and just go for it. In doing so, just this year alone this hear I have met 5 people outside Jacksonville and located locally that I now have added to my inner circle and I am loving my growth.
