Meet Laura Leandra

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Laura Leandra. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Laura, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

Let’s start where it all began..I call myself incredibly grateful to have been born into a warm, loving and supportive family, that always seems to find a glimmer of good, even in tougher situations.

Growing up in that environment taught me that perspective is very powerful. I quickly realized that when you choose to believe in the positive, it has a way of attracting more positivity into your life.
It’s a mindset that has shaped how I approach challenges and opportunities, allowing me to focus on solutions and growth rather than obstacles.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I have always been a creative & wild spirit, admittedly very impatient & sometimes way too impulsive, but filled with love, ambition, never ending ideas and dreams.

Early on, I realized I didn’t want to conform to the molds society presented.
Instead, I carved my own path, determined to be my own boss and pursue what truly inspires me. I wanted to make a living doing what I’m passionate about.
Photography has been a thread running through my family history, beginning with my great-grandfather, who documented traffic incidents and crime scenes in Zurich, Switzerland, and my grandfather who was a great photographer himself and,who gifted me my first camera, which I will always cherish.

LL Productions was born in 2009 in Oahu, Hawaii, which is where my Husband Chris and I were stationed with our then 1 year old Daughter. During my Husbands Military Service, we re-located 2 more times to GA and NC, After that we took a a chance by packing up and re-locating to Orlando,FL, which is where we have been ever since.

LL Productions specializes in Product & Lifestyle, Portrait, Event & Food Photography & Videography. I am the photographer & editor and Chris is our head videographer.
We have successfully completed creative productions for over 100 major brands along with a list of small businesses and non-profit organizations.

One of the things I enjoy the most about what I do is the variety.
Every day is completely different and I love everything about that and wouldn’t want it any other way. I also enjoy meeting lots of different people from all walks of life.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Great question…only three?lol

Resiliance, Ambition and Research

As a Freelancer, I think one of the things that was most impactful was resilience, to not give up when things get tough, again and again. This sounds very cliche, but you have to be convinced that this is the journey you are meant to be on. That’s where the ambition should be kicking in.

Therfore my advice would be to continue to remind yourself why you are doing what you are doing and to be grateful where you are in the process. Every step of the way is equally important, however not equally enjoyable, but it will shape you into exactly what you need to be.

Continue to gain knowledge in the field you are interested in. Never stop researching and learning.
Stay true to your vision and believe in your skills! Manage your time wisely, work hard but don’t be too hard on yourself, you are doing your best.

And most importantly, be a good human being along the way,it is so worth it.

How would you describe your ideal client?

I absolutely love when clients fully trust the vision and the process, and let my team and I have full creative freedom, which is when the magic happens!
