We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Laura Marie Gutierrez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Laura Marie, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
People see me now and assume confidence has always been my thing. It wasn’t. When I was younger, I was teased for my weight and my hair, and it definitely stung. Even with that, I kept showing up. I walked into rooms with a sparkle in my eye and a smile on my face. Little by little, choosing to show up anyway is what built my confidence. It didn’t happen overnight. It happened every time I refused to shrink just because someone else couldn’t handle me.
As I grew older, my mindset and my self-esteem evolved. I learned to love the parts of me that once made me feel different. I learned to love my curves and my curls and embrace all of it. My confidence today is grounded in gratitude for my body, pride in my story, and joy in the woman I have become. I love who I am, how I look, and what I have to offer.
I speak with confidence because I have nothing to hide. You have a question, I have an answer. I’m not ashamed to be wrong and I’m not afraid to be right. I am confident.
Confidence is not something you are handed. It is something you create. I choose to get dressed for the day. I choose to feel beautiful even at home. I choose to do things that make me happy because when I feel good, everything in my life shifts. That is what gives me confidence. I built it, I protect it, and I live in it.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, I have built my career on passion, connection, and a deep love for the city I call home. As a dedicated Realtor and the founder of Three Diamonds Realty Group, I have transformed my business into something far greater than a traditional real estate operation. For me, real estate is not a sales job. It is a relationship business built on trust, loyalty, and showing up for people when it matters most.
I always say I wanted to change the game in real estate. My work is about building connections strong enough that when someone faces one of the biggest decisions in their life, they call on me to guide them.
Three Diamonds Realty Group reflects that philosophy. I chose the name to symbolize elegance and longevity, qualities I instill in my team and my brand. Three Diamonds is a non-traditional team where life and business are interwoven. We work hard, celebrate together, and prioritize family. Real estate is time consuming, so it became a core value of mine to make sure family is always at the top of the list. We bring our families together often, creating a community that truly lifts each other up.
I also pour into my agents the same way I lead my own life. I want my Diamonds to become the best business women they can be, not just the best salespeople. My leadership goes beyond contracts and closings. It is about confidence, communication, and stepping into your power.
That passion for empowering women led me to my next venture. I founded The Bloom Empire Network, a space created for women in leadership who want to lead boldly and confidently. Bloom is more than an event series. It is a movement that inspires women to live fully, stand tall, and support the next woman rising behind them. Our next Bloom Empire event, scheduled for January 2026, centers on the theme Living Out Loud.
My vision for the future is big, bright, and unapologetically bold. I plan to continue growing Three Diamonds, expanding Bloom Empire, and building new opportunities for women across Central Texas.
I always say you should never have just one business. You should always be looking for the next. And true to my own words, I will leave you with a hint. A new venture is on the horizon.
Giddy Up Cowgirl arrives in Spring 2026. Stay tuned.
This is my story. I am redefining real estate, elevating women, and building an empire one diamond at a time.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three values that have shaped my journey the most are keeping an open mind, having confidence, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Those qualities can move mountains, and they have carried me through every chapter of my life. My advice to any woman who wants more for herself is this. Align yourself with people who are moving forward. Keep your best friends close, but do not be afraid to make new ones. Go to the party. Make the drive across town for the event. Say yes to the coffee date. Listen and absorb. Let people speak and truly hear them but also show up and contribute to the ones who pour into you. Be a listener, a giver, and an honest woman.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always looking for meaningful partnerships, especially for Bloom Empire. I have big plans for Bloom, and collaborating with companies both big and small brings a special energy to every event we host. If you feel you have something valuable to contribute, I would love to consider you as a guest speaker at one of our major events. I will also be hosting business launches at the events. So if you have a new business opening up or you need a refresher on your current business, you need to contact me! Let’s celebrate your hard work and make it LOUD! And if you are interested in becoming a sponsor, let me just say this. I love a good collaboration.
The possibilities for partnership with Bloom are endless, and I want you to be part of it. The best way to connect with me is by following my social media accounts or emailing me directly at [email protected].
