Meet Lauren Battin

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lauren Battin a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Lauren, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

I get my resilience from being a military kid. I was raised to adapt, to stand tall in unfamiliar places, and to keep going no matter what’s in front of me. Change, challenge, and uncertainty were part of my normal, and they taught me how to be unshakable. I’ve learned to thrive under pressure, to rebuild when needed, and to keep my focus even when everything around me shifts. My resilience is rooted in that upbringing—and it’s only grown stronger through every storm I’ve faced since.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a passionate creative and visionary with a heart for helping people and brands tell their stories in a way that’s bold, authentic, and unforgettable. Through my work in branding, marketing, and design, I specialize in helping small business owners—especially mompreneurs and mission-driven leaders—build strong, strategic foundations that fuel growth and impact.

What sets my brand apart is the heart behind it. I’ve lived all over the world as a military child, and that experience gave me a deep appreciation for diversity, adaptability, and perseverance. I bring those values into everything I do. Whether it’s crafting a logo, building a website, or developing a marketing strategy, I’m not just delivering a product—I’m helping people stand in their power, share their vision, and connect with the audience they were meant to serve.

Right now, I’m excited to be expanding my reach across the state and developing systems that not only help my clients grow but also help me show up more intentionally in every area of life—business, motherhood, faith, and community. I believe purpose and profit can go hand in hand, and I’m on a mission to prove it.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the three most important qualities that shaped my journey are resilience, adaptability, and vision.

Resilience has been the backbone of everything. Life doesn’t always go as planned, but pushing through the hard moments is where growth happens. I’ve learned that resilience isn’t about never falling—it’s about always getting back up with more fire than before.

Adaptability comes from my background as a military kid. I was constantly stepping into new environments, and that experience taught me how to adjust quickly, stay grounded in uncertainty, and thrive no matter the circumstances. In both life and business, being flexible is a superpower.

Vision is what keeps me aligned. It’s easy to get distracted by comparison or doubt, but having a clear vision reminds me why I started and who I’m doing it for. It’s the fuel behind every decision and the filter for every opportunity.

For anyone early in their journey—invest in your mindset. Read, listen, ask questions, and surround yourself with people who challenge and inspire you. You don’t need to have it all figured out—just start, stay teachable, and never stop believing that you’re built for what you’ve been called to do.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was raise me to believe I could handle anything. As a military kid, I was constantly starting over—new schools, new friends, new cultures. But my parents never let me see change as a setback. They taught me to be strong, adaptable, and grounded in who I am no matter where I was. They modeled resilience, faith, and discipline, and they showed me how to lead with both grit and grace. Because of them, I don’t fear the unknown—I face it head-on, knowing I’ve been equipped to thrive in any environment.
