Meet Lauren Brown

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lauren Brown. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lauren below.

Hi Lauren, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I discovered my purpose early in life, growing up in Chicago during the turbulent 1960s and 1970s. My siblings and I watched our incredible mom manage our household while working as a teaching assistant and community advocate. She taught us that people are precious and that serving others is the right thing to do. She also showed us how to be the change we want to see in the world.

Today, I continue to help others by using my legal skills to simplify complex terms and concepts, making them easier to understand and apply. My clients achieve greater success because they have a better grasp of the laws, rules, and regulations that impact their business activities

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I retired in 2017 after a long and fulfilling career as an attorney, trainer, educator, public speaker, and community advocate. Following my passion for helping others, I founded LRB Global Consulting Services, a Series LLC, after retirement. Our company uses my diverse skills and experience to help entrepreneurs build successful and profitable businesses.

Our Offerings: We provide a comprehensive suite of solutions, including regulatory compliance, business structuring, training programs and materials, and intellectual property protection. We’re committed to ensuring that our clients’ “regulatory health” translates into “business wealth.”

This work is special to me because it empowers entrepreneurs to pursue their goals with a solid foundation for success. Intellectual property protection is particularly close to my heart because entrepreneurs can use this valuable asset to grow and scale their business. We are in the process of launching a podcast and store dedicated to entrepreneurs and business owners who want to scale their business.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Three qualities:
• Serving others keeps me humble and invested in people, our most precious commodity
• Using my talents, skills, background and experience allows me to provide simple and practical solutions to our clients using plain language and strategies
they understand
• Taking CALCULATED risks in business is critical entrepreneurship is about seeing opportunities and taking necessary risks to seize those opportunities
My advice to others is to:
• pursue your lifetime goals with passion and integrity;
• make service to others the highest priority, along with keeping your faith on a daily basis; and
• be bold enough to take calculated risks

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am always open to partnerships and collaborations that enhance the success of entrepreneurs and business owners. We can connect via my website or email.
Specifically, I am looking for partners and collaborators who:
• want training on intellectual property (IP) protection for themselves and their clients/customers
• want training on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on IP protection for themselves and their clients/customers
