Meet Lauren Glading

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lauren Glading a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Lauren, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

Imposter syndrome is such a tricky thing. It tends to pop up just when you’re about to step into something new and exciting, like your Ego’s way of keeping you safe by holding you back. When I feel that doubt creeping in I remind myself it’s just a fear-based response, something ancient and deep-rooted in society.
I started to ask myself questions like, “What am I really afraid of?” and “Is this fear even valid?” Most of the time, if not all, it’s not. It’s just my brain trying to protect me from some imaginary danger. By digging into these feelings and further self enquiry, I’ve learned to see them as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles and its usually an exciting indicator of an important step on my dharmic path. It is a journey and invitation to deeper self-discovery, with self-compassion and a bit of introspection, you start to see your own unique path more clearly and take the step further into your power and authenticity, which is actually really exciting. Surrounding myself with supportive people has also been key – they help me see my worth and keep things on track when I struggle to and am so grateful for these divine connections.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m a Kiwi who used to live in London and now live my dream life in Bali. I left a corporate marketing job during COVID and finally took the leap to become an entrepreneur. Now, I run a remote design studio called @createdesign.studio, with an amazing team spread across New Zealand, Australia, Bali, India, Lithuania, and Ukraine. We work with clients worldwide, creating brands, campaigns, and what lights me up most, is our creations of spatial concepts. One of our latest projects was a bar and eatery installation at Brisbane Airport.

I’m a total yogi and a little hippie at heart. My business is nearly four years young now, which has given me the freedom to focus on my dharma: helping others step into their power by reconnecting with their body, mind and soul. After learning alternative healing modalities through my own health issues, I have become my own healer and have never felt better in my life. I love diving into the realms of Kundalini yoga, Qi-gong, Tea, Ayurveda, Vedic astrology, Food & Herbs and more…

This passion led me to create satnam.studio, an online platform named after the Sanskrit phrase meaning “truth is my essence.” It’s all about tapping into your own radiance with access to live classes and in-person immersions, which we’re planning in upcoming events in Bali, New Zealand, and Spain. I also created the Satnam Kundalini Timer app, designed to help you stay in the zone during meditation without any annoying interruptions. It’s available on both Android and Apple.

I also open limited spaces to work one to one where I combine my embodied knowledge in alternative healing modalities as well as my quantum astral abilities to allow you to step into your own zone of genius and personal power; to create a prosperous and abundant life as I have been so fortunate to achieve and manifest during my life thus far.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Authenticity: Being real and true to yourself, even when it’s tough, makes life so much richer. It’s a quality that opens doors and builds genuine connections.

Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and managing your emotions and empathizing with others keeps life balanced and purposeful. Meditation and self-inquiry have been game-changers for me as well as working with firm and fair boundaries.

The Art of Listening: Truly listening, not listening to simply reply. To listen beyond just words leads to deeper understanding and wisdom. It’s about tuning into the energy and intent behind the conversation which makes interactions much more meaningful, insightful and profound.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Absolutely! I’d love to connect with wellness practitioners who have deep, embodied wisdom and passion in their fields. At satnam.studio, we’re building a platform for yoga teachers, vocal trainers, meditation and breathwork facilitators, astrologers and anyone else offering gifts outside the ‘norm’. If you’re looking to share your practice in a safe, fun, and accessible space, let’s talk. Helping you with brand design and technical setup which leaves you to focus on what you do best, is where I love to be of service myself. Soon we plan to have our library platform migrated over to our app too.

And if you are a divine soul seeking an enriched personalised healing platform, I would love to invite you to join our founding membership and be part of this beautiful, ‘new earth’ community. Also, check out the Satnam Kundalini Timer app to enhance your meditation and accountability practice – it’s free on Google Play and the App Store.

I would love to connect with you personally on instagram if you felt resonance too, I always enjoy hearing from others on this path of freedom, sovereignty and radiance.
