Meet Lazaro Marcia

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lazaro Marcia. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lazaro below.

Lazaro , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Tattoos have fascinated me since a young age, and by the time I was 13 they had already become a passion. When I was 23, I suffered a life-changing motorcycle accident that forced me to relearn everything—including how to live with a new physical reality. Over the years that followed, my perspective shifted, and nine years later I made the decision to give my all to tattooing. Despite the challenges of my injury, I committed to finding my own way to create, adapt, and grow. That journey is what ultimately led me to discover my purpose as a tattoo artist.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

What excites me most about my career is the constant growth, every year brings new opportunities, new challenges, and new levels to reach. Coming from a life changing injury and rebuilding my path from the ground up, I’ve developed a deep desire to leave a real mark in this industry. I want my journey to stand as proof that passion and perseverance can reshape your entire future. As I continue expanding my career and pushing toward bigger milestones, my goal is to inspire, elevate my craft, and build something lasting in the tattoo world.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that impacted my journey most were resilience, adaptability, and a relentless desire to grow. Resilience carried me through a life changing injury and the years it took to rebuild my path. Adaptability helped me re-learn how to create art with new limitations and turn them into creativity . And the drive to grow both as an artist and as a person kept me pushing forward when the road wasn’t easy.

For anyone early in their journey, my advice is simple: stay patient with yourself, stay open to learning from every experience, and don’t let obstacles convince you that your dream isn’t possible. Growth takes time, but commitment turns challenges into opportunities. Keep showing up, even on the hard days that’s where the breakthroughs happen.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

Pray and seek God!
