Le, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
I keep my creativity alive by continually exploring new ideas. I am constantly seeking fresh approaches to both my music-making process and my collaborations with musical partners. Amos Page and I thrive on each other’s ideas, recognizing the vital importance of creativity as an expressive tool that enriches our daily lives. I am at my happiest when I am in my creative zone, generating new ideas to share with the world. Creativity serves as the spark that illuminates the world; without it, the world would be dull and gray. I believe I have been placed on this earth to be a blessing to all of God’s beautiful people, utilizing the gift that has been entrusted to me. I am committed to nurturing my creativity for as long as I live.

I am the founder and owner of Just Music Productions, based in Atlanta, GA. I am a versatile professional, skilled as a musician, singer/songwriter, and producer. Additionally, I bring expertise as a user experience designer and vlogger to my creative pursuits. My passion lies in the journey of my music career. Every day, I wake up with a sense of purpose, fully dedicated to honing my craft and pursuing what I love. I acknowledge the challenges of the music industry, where success often requires patience, dedication, and perseverance in the face of uncertainty. Despite the unpredictable nature of the industry, I remain committed to my path, understanding that true longevity stems from a profound love for one’s work and the realization that our contributions extend beyond ourselves.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Starting a career in the music business requires dedication, hard work, and a willingness to push your boundaries. Developing a strong foundation in music theory, instrumental proficiency, and creativity is essential for creating high-quality music that resonates with listeners. My advice to those embarking on this journey is to dedicate significant time to honing your musical skills through consistent practice, study, and experimentation. Explore various genres and techniques to expand your musical vocabulary and develop your unique artistic voice. Collaboration with fellow musicians can provide valuable feedback and growth opportunities.
Remember, success in the music industry doesn’t come overnight. Be prepared for sleepless nights and moments of discomfort as you push yourself to improve and evolve as an artist. Embrace the challenges, stay committed to your craft, and never stop learning and growing.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
It’s truly a blessing to have both of my parents, Aubrey Hunte and Carlotta Hunte, in my life. Their enduring marriage of 42 years has been a guiding light, and I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and experiencing their remarkable journey firsthand. Everything I am today, every virtue I embody, I owe to them.
My parents have dedicated their lives, aspirations, and dreams to ensuring the well-being and happiness of my siblings and me. Their sacrifices have been immeasurable, shaping me into the man I am today. While I could list countless impactful moments they’ve provided, one stands out vividly in my memory—the surprise birthday party they orchestrated for me.
That moment encapsulated an abundance of thought, love, and care. It wasn’t just a celebration; it was a profound expression of their unwavering support and affection. It remains the highlight of my life, a cherished memory that continues to inspire me.
In gratitude for their boundless love and support, I am committed to striving for success. Not for personal gain, but to honor their sacrifices and to ensure that I can pay forward the immense love and support they’ve bestowed upon me.
