Meet Lee Ellis

We recently connected with Lee Ellis and have shared our conversation below.

Lee, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

From a young age, I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I wasn’t quite sure what that would look like or how to get there. When I first started college, I declared my major in business because I knew I wanted to work for myself one day. As I continued my studies, I realized that what truly fascinated me was understanding people — their thoughts, emotions, and motivations — so I changed my major to psychology.
That decision turned out to be a turning point. By continuing to follow what brought me the most joy and staying curious about what genuinely inspired me, I eventually found myself on a path that allowed me to combine my interests and create something of my own. I’ve come to believe that when you follow your passion and stay true to what lights you up, success and financial stability naturally follow.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’ve always been fascinated by the subconscious mind — how it quietly shapes the way we think, feel, and act, and how it ultimately creates the life we experience. Through my work, I help people go beyond the surface of traditional talk therapy to access the deeper layers where lasting change really happens.

What makes my approach special is that I guide people to uncover the subconscious beliefs, patterns, and fears that have been sabotaging their progress — often without them even realizing it. Once we bring those hidden programs to light, I help them release what no longer serves them and create space for healing, peace, and empowerment.
I find this kind of work far more transformative than simply talking about our problems or learning coping skills. It’s about true emotional freedom — helping people reconnect with who they really are beneath the layers of conditioning and pain. Watching that transformation unfold is what excites me most about what I do.

I work with clients both in person and online, so I’m able to support people from any location. I also host group workshops in my local community of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Because I’m passionate about helping people understand the limits of traditional therapy and explore deeper healing, I wrote a short book called Love the One You’re With. It offers practical guidance on how to remain positive and stay in your marriage using the same subconscious reprogramming principles I use in my practice. The book is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the most impactful “skills” I’ve developed aren’t traditional ones you’d list on a résumé — they’re more about following intuition, joy, and curiosity. I truly believe that the most important thing you can do on the path to entrepreneurship is to follow what brings you joy. When you move toward what excites and inspires you, you naturally find your purpose — and the right opportunities unfold from there.

I don’t believe success comes from chasing what you think will make money or doing what society says you’re “supposed” to do. In my own journey, I’ve always chosen to learn new things that fascinate me, even when they didn’t seem practical at the time. Each of those interests ended up shaping my work in a meaningful way.

My advice to anyone just starting out would be to move forward when you feel inspired — not when you feel pressured. Inspiration is a form of divine guidance. When you trust those nudges and follow the energy of what feels alive and exciting, it will always lead you in the right direction.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

My ideal client is someone who is ready to look within and take an honest, compassionate look at what’s shaping their life — not from a place of blame or suffering, but from curiosity and empowerment. I don’t believe healing requires us to relive old traumas or go through pain again. It’s simply about becoming aware of the subconscious patterns and beliefs that have been running the show — most of which were never truly ours to begin with.

Nothing that’s happening in your life is your fault, and none of your programming came from you. We all carry beliefs and emotional imprints that were passed down through family, culture, and collective experiences. Some of what we uncover can feel uncomfortable, but it’s never about guilt or shame — it’s about freedom and understanding.

I work best with people who are open to seeing life in a new way — who are willing to explore deeper truths and recognize that the outer world is a reflection of our inner world. Even though it can sometimes look like things are falling apart, I believe we are actually moving through a powerful ascension process, one that’s calling each of us to heal and awaken. When you heal yourself, you naturally help to heal the world, because we are all connected. The energy you carry and the thoughts you think ripple out and influence everything around you more than you realize.
