Meet Lee “Natty” Trebotich

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lee “Natty” Trebotich. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Lee “Natty”, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

My strong work ethic stems from my love for the outdoors. Growing up in a family that valued hard work, I believe that success is directly linked to the effort and time invested in a project. Our goal is to set an example for the outdoor industries and demonstrate various ways to respect our environments through education and action

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Food For Adventures is an outdoor company that specializes in outdoor private chef services, culinary education, foraging/medicinal classes, and “Seasoned Partnerships”.
We take pride in offering a wide range of experiences suitable for adventurers of all levels. Our journeys across the globe involve various scenarios to highlight the significance of communal outdoor dining. Embracing challenges, we strive to create a welcoming and secure environment for all adventurers.

Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming US tour, the “Cooking, Camping, & Conversations” tour, where we will travel across the US hosting cooking sessions and educational events.
Additionally, we will introduce our new backcountry treat for public purchase. This special Food For Adventures recipe is one we are enthusiastic to share with the world.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

My background in Biology has significantly contributed to the development of Food For Adventures. With an undergraduate degree in marine biology and a master’s degree in botany, we aim to provide a wide range of educational courses that promote the conservation of our natural environment, parks, and wildlife.

The dedication and perseverance put into marketing and production have been essential in building this company. The late nights and early mornings have paid off. Hard work is a skill that is define by character and results

A fundamental quality is a deep-seated passion for the outdoors with our company. I aspire to conserve the natural beauty I cherish, ensuring it remains for my daughter to explore and enjoy in the future.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most valuable lesson my parents instilled in me was the importance of independence and self-reliance. They have consistently backed me, regardless of my choices. From a young age, I learned not to depend solely on others but to seek solutions independently. Acquiring this skill early on enabled me to mature self-sufficiently and cultivate a keen ability to analyze various situations.
