Meet Lee Roth

We were lucky to catch up with Lee Roth recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lee , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I think if my grandparents were still alive today, they’d tell you I had a work ethic from age 3 when I sold seashells on the beach of Miami. It probably is in my dna, but my work ethic did come out at a very early age as I always enjoyed the financial freedom that came from the result of a work ethic. I had a candy business in middle school, a flyer/marketing business in high school. And with that, I was able to do what I wanted to do. Nothing was given to me, everything was earned as a kid and that was something I took great pride in.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I love solving juicy problems for my clients and the greater the variety of problems, the more excited I get. It’s one of the reasons I love marketing consulting as opposed to working for one company, the variety of challenges is greater and more interesting. An average day I could be working on the launch of a beverage in the morning and in the afternoon, working on the strategy for a global technology company.

Today, we don’t just solve problems for our clients, we are training the next generation of marketers on how they can solve problems through strategy. We’re doing a ton of capability building & training where we focus on teaching everything from identifying the problem to solve & brief writing to annual planning.
