Meet Lena Mali

We recently connected with Lena Mali and have shared our conversation below.

Lena, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

What Is the Foundation of My Optimism?
First and foremost, it is based on the belief that everything will eventually turn out well. Imagine having no choice but to accept the current situation without any helpers, relying solely on yourself. By believing in a positive outcome, holding onto hope for the best, and applying the Law of Attraction, you will inevitably attract good changes into your life.

The roots of my optimism run deep into my childhood. Every day, I heard my mother express a completely unoptimistic attitude, often saying to herself, “I’m not lucky, I’m unfortunate.” This bothered me greatly, and I often told myself, “I am lucky, I am fortunate.”

Against the backdrop of this completely joyless atmosphere in my family, I tried to cultivate an optimistic and positive personality. Resisting a negative mindset was very challenging, and convincing myself otherwise was even harder. However, this internal struggle and striving for positive thinking formed a steadfast belief in the best within me and helped me overcome many life difficulties.

As I grew older, I became more interested in positive psychology. I read inspiring books on proper thinking and personal growth. Some of the first books that left an indelible impression on me were those by Louise Hay and Napoleon Hill. I plastered my walls with notes containing positive affirmations and, seeing them each time, read them over and over, setting myself up for the best.

Optimism helps to see the positive aspects and opportunities for growth in every situation. It gives strength to cope with problems and find solutions. Life often sends us various trials, testing our resilience and strengthening our spirit, forming an inner life support. By steadfastly passing these trials, we not only grow as individuals but also develop our spiritual foundation.

In my life, there have been many such trials, and only by believing in myself and the best was I able to cope with what fate presented to me. Sometimes I felt like giving up, but there was always a spark of hope for the better in my heart. My inner light helped me find ways out of dead-end situations and made me fight and seek answers to my questions. Over time, I studied more about how faith and hope help us survive the most challenging situations. Now I know for sure that by steadfastly accepting and living through what we cannot change, we unlock vast potential within ourselves, growing spiritually and personally.

Enjoying the Small Joys of Life
One of my abilities is to enjoy the small joys of life and be grateful for what I have. This ability makes my life brighter, happier, and more fulfilling. Every time I go outside, I try to pay attention to what surrounds me. I rejoice at the singing of birds, the green grass, the beautiful flowers, the bright sun, and the blue sky. My soul sings from this beauty of nature, filling me with positive emotions and energizing me for the whole day. I bring my inner light to work or to a company of friends, sharing it with those around me. I get immense pleasure when I see their happy, smiling faces.

My Life Hacks:
Limit the access of negative information into your life. I haven’t watched the news for over 25 years, which helps maintain a positive mood.
Watch kind movies and listen to pleasant music that lifts your spirits.
Engage in spiritual practices. Do what suits you best – yoga, meditation, walks in the fresh air, hiking, the beach, bike rides, etc.
Communicate with cheerful, positive people and limit interaction with those who affect you negatively.
Make time for rest and spend more time in nature.
Keep a gratitude journal and be thankful for everything you have.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I offer a unique approach — transpersonal coaching.

As a mindfulness expert, intuitive energy healer, and metaphysician, I use a holistic approach that combines a clear structure of steps with the freedom for natural solutions at each stage.

Transpersonal coaching takes into account not only personal and professional goals but also the needs for spiritual and transpersonal development. This is a modern form of transpersonal psychology aimed at unlocking the potential of human consciousness and realizing higher values.

With my experience in improving healthy personal relationships, personal and career growth, as well as emotional well-being, I help people overcome life challenges, find new paths for growth and development, heal emotional wounds, learn to love themselves, and build strong and happy relationships.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
