Hi Leola, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Finding your purpose often feels like uncovering a deep, personal truth that has been waiting within you all along. For me, the journey to discovering my purpose was rooted in a profound understanding of what truly resonated with me on a soul-deep level. I started by paying close attention to the moments that made me feel most alive, the situations where I felt in complete harmony with myself and the world around me.
What resonated with me was the simple, yet powerful act of helping others. I realized that my greatest joy came from sharing what I have to offer—whether that was knowledge, skills, or simply a compassionate ear. This understanding evolved into a practice, a way of living where I could align my actions with this core value of service. Every lesson I learned, every skill I honed, became a tool not just for my personal growth, but for the benefit of others as well.
Accepting who I am was a crucial part of this journey. I learned to embrace both my strengths and my flaws, understanding that both are essential components of my unique identity. Instead of striving to be someone else or chasing ideals that didn’t align with my true self, I began to focus on what I am naturally good at. This focus allowed me to channel my energies effectively, to work with purpose and intention rather than just going through the motions.
Through this process, I discovered that my purpose wasn’t something outside of me that I had to find; it was something within me that I needed to uncover. By aligning my actions with what resonates with me, sharing my gifts with others, and fully accepting who I am, I found a deep sense of fulfillment and clarity. This is how I found my purpose: by recognizing the value in what I have to offer and dedicating myself to a path that allows me to live that truth every day.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on my journey, there are three qualities and areas of knowledge that have been most impactful:
1. Emotional Intelligence: For me, understanding and managing my own emotions, while also being able to connect deeply with others, has been a cornerstone of my work. It’s about really tuning in to what’s going on beneath the surface—for myself and for those I work with. My advice for developing this? Start with self-reflection and mindfulness. Pay attention to your feelings, and practice empathy in your daily interactions. The more you engage with your emotions and those of others, the more naturally emotional intelligence will grow.
2. Adaptability: Life and wellness are not one-size-fits-all, and neither is my approach. Being adaptable has allowed me to meet each person where they are, adjusting my methods to suit their unique needs. If I could share one piece of advice, it would be to stay curious and open. Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone—every challenge is an opportunity to learn something new and refine your approach.
3. Holistic Perspective: Understanding the deep connection between the mind, body, and spirit has been transformative in how I approach wellness. This knowledge didn’t come overnight; it grew from exploring different disciplines and seeing how they intersect. If you’re just starting out, I’d encourage you to explore broadly—whether it’s through reading, courses, or simply being open to new experiences. The more you understand how everything is connected, the more powerful your impact will be.
Advice for Your Journey:
1. Start with Yourself -: Get to know your own emotions and motivations. When you understand yourself deeply, it becomes much easier to connect with and guide others.
2. Stay Open to Learning – There’s always more to learn, and being open to new ideas will keep you adaptable and resilient. Embrace learning as a lifelong journey.
3.Lead with Compassion – Approach everyone with empathy and compassion. When you truly care about others’ well-being, it shines through in everything you do and strengthens the connections you build.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m always open to collaborate with individuals who share a passion for holistic wellness and a commitment to helping others achieve balanced, fulfilled lives. The sorts of folks I’m looking to collaborate with are those who bring a unique perspective to wellness—whether through yoga, mindfulness, nutrition, mental health, or any other area that contributes to overall well-being.
I’m particularly interested in partnering with wellness professionals, educators, and creatives who are innovative, open-minded, and dedicated to making wellness accessible and impactful. Collaboration could take many forms, from co-hosting workshops and retreats to developing resources, creating content, or even launching joint projects that expand our reach and impact.
