Meet Lia Coleman

We were lucky to catch up with Lia Coleman recently and have shared our conversation below.

Lia, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

I keep my creativity alive because I always look forward to finding new things and opportunities. My mind always wonder a 1000 times when I want to come up with new ideas and also see them in the for front . I just enjoy seeing the smiles and the wows when I put everything together .

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Hello I Am Lia Coleman , I’m A Chef , Mentor And Content Creator . I enjoy cooking , trying new recipes , mentoring young ladies and creating videos from events I’ve put together or were invited to . Soon I’ll be finishing up my cook book called “The Food Wizard “ it’s a beginner book . Also I am looking forwards for creating my own sauce and seasoning come 2026 can’t wait

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I think becoming a critical thinker, I started paying attention to detail more when it came to my career . I started teaching my self different things even if it was difficult I found that investing more into your craft and remaining focus made new skills easier to learn .

I would say take your time , stay focus , become a team player , never be scared to asked questions and be open minded . Step out on faith here and there because you will never learn if you don’t get your feet wet a little . that’s what make a great team player also a great leader .

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Absolutely, I am looking forward to meeting other chefs , mentors, or content creators like myself we can share ideas , skills and many different brainstorming moments together . I wouldn’t mind partnering with food brands , non profits and positive likeminded individuals.
