Meet Liana Bassior

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Liana Bassior . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Liana , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
My purpose is something that developed over time, and was something that I am actualizing now that I am in my 30’s. It was honestly a process of throwing spaghetti at a wall and seeing what stuck until I connected to something that felt so undeniably right I could not miss it. That’s what I realized purpose is. It’s that feeling in your heart that feels like warm, light energy. It’s doing something that energizes you, gives you spirit when you do it. You might be physically drained and exhausted, but when you are doing something that’s your purpose, you have this burst of energy that goes beyond your exhaustion. That is what doing my astrology practice and recording my Podcast AstroLyrical feels like to me. It’s something that is connected beyond my physical body, it’s connected to source energy or spirit, connected to the Universe in what I am meant to do. I feel incredibly lucky to feel that, and I hope it’s something that people try to discover within themselves so that they can find their purpose as well, whatever that looks like to them.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am an astrologer with my own practice as well as a podcast creator and host. I specialize with one-on-one sessions, so that we can talk about their natal charts and share a new lens to look at their life and inner self with. My podcast AstroLyrical is different in sharing that passion of astrology, being able to talk about it in a more public way and hoping that making astrology more accessible to people through music can help listeners all over the world.

I am excited to make my practice and podcast more accessible with having community events, workshops, and doing public events in the New Year.

Keep a look out for these new additions on my website www.liliroseastrology.com!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities that have been most important in my journey is: patience, persistence, and hope. Being patient that your hard work will pay off, even if it’s in little ways. Persistence to keep going, even when you are tired and want to give up. And having hope, that your dreams can happen and you can make a difference in the world, just by sharing the gifts you have big or small.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My parents were encouraging and supportive no matter what. That has been huge in my life. Whatever stage of life I was in-if I wanted to go for something my parents supported me with love and encouragement. That was huge. Also letting me develop and become my most authentic self, I never felt like I had to be anyone else with them. All of these things were so important to figuring out who I am and what I wanted to do. Something I hope to give my kids when I have them.
