Meet Lifestyle

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lifestyle. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Lifestyle, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

We keep our creativity alive by loving what we do! Everyday we are inspired to keep pushing our brand to new levels and new heights. Traveling as much as we do also keeps our creativity alive as new cities, countries, and cultures sparks a lot of creativity.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Lifestyle International was founded in 2014 by Jerome Green, Britte Robinson, Recardo Tucker, and Gerald Canty. We started out as a music production company and that same year, we printed tees with our original logo on them and wore them on stage at a performance in North Carolina. After posting photos and others posting photos of us on social media, the demand was so high that we decided to create our own website to meet the demand and we have been growing ever since. What’s special about us is that we are an active and travel wear brand for all walks of life and all ages. We’ve expanded the brand into customization where we design one of one pieces with customer provided clothing bearing the brand. We are a brand so we offer accessories and other items like shower curtains, floor mats, watches, umbrellas, rolling papers, and much more. We also offer reunion tees and uniforms for other businesses as well. We are most proud of our brand’s success in reaching such a diverse support base ranging from newborns to senior citizens all over the world. We also travel around the country and internationally promoting, branding, and selling our brand’s products.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Determination, Dedication, and Focus. We were determine that we would succeed and continue to grow and be successful no matter what obstacles we ran into. We never stopped pushing toward our goals. We were dedicated to learning the business and learning all aspects of our business from designing pieces, screen print, update and maintain our website. We were dedicated to the process. We understood that it was not going to be overnight. We stayed focus our each task we had to accomplish. With life things can throw off your focus. With us no matter what was going on in each of our lives we picked each other up and we focused on the task at hand.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

We think our biggest area of growth has been our new products and pieces we have dropped over the last 12 months. We have released over 100 different tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, shorts, hats, colorways, dresses and other exclusive pieces over the last 12 months. We also have dropped new products like rolling papers, shot glasses, purses, and passport covers.
