Meet Lila Z Rose

We recently connected with Lila Z Rose and have shared our conversation below.

Lila Z, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

As a little kid running around the neighborhood, I had a natural confidence that bubbled up like an artesian spring. It was effortless – a deep sense that I could achieve anything I set my mind to even before I could read.

But over time – through setbacks, losses, and challenges – that confidence eroded. Luckily, I remembered that limitless feeling and decided to regain it – not only for myself but for others as well.

That’s when a I noticed a powerful blueprint, one I’d unknowingly been shaping for years as a storyteller and entertainment industry executive without realizing how deeply it applied to real life.

In every unforgettable story, the protagonist begins with potential, but there’s always a distance between who they are and who they’re destined to become. That transformation – the evolutionary leap between their origin and their destiny is what I call the Hero-Gap.

As I worked on scripts and developed projects, I began to see that this same pattern wasn’t just fiction – it was real life. I wasn’t just crafting character arcs. I was helping brilliant, driven collaborators navigate their own Hero-Gap. And what I witnessed, time and again, was this: the highest achievers weren’t the ones who never stumbled. They were the ones who leveraged every stumble into growth by identifying more with their hero potential than the ‘zero’ feelings that arose.

They placed effort before ego, transforming every obstacle into greater skill, deeper resilience, and unstoppable drive. But they didn’t do it alone. They benefitted from a mentor who reminded them of their greater destiny, and helped them keep going between wins.

Because while competence has a powerful impact on self-esteem – we don’t begin highly competent in the areas that matter most. Talent, vision, and ambition may spark the journey, but true confidence is forged through deliberate practice and earned experience.

Failure must often be risked before confidence arrives in a blaze of glory.

That realization changed everything for me.

I decided that the most important value I could hold – more than perfection, more than validation – was evolution. As long as I was learning, stretching, and growing, I was closing the Hero-Gap. More and more, I aligned my internal self-worth to external success before I saw results. I jumped into roles I wasn’t prepared for and created shows I never imagined I could. Every time, I grew into the person who could handle the next level AFTER reaching that peak.

If I had waited to feel ‘ready’ I wouldn’t be where I am today.

And that’s why I mentor high achievers to move through their own Hero-Gap. Because confidence is nowhere near as important as courage. It’s a decision to choose growth, take action, and keep refining until your ceiling becomes your floor.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I mentor high-achieving executives, entrepreneurs, and creatives who are ready to close the Hero-Gap – to leap from where they are now to an elite level of wealth, influence, and the impact they were born to achieve.

This transformation is not just about strategy. It is about rewiring the internal operating system that dictates earning potential, visibility, and long-term success.

Because at a certain level, high achievers do not plateau due to lack of effort – they plateau because their identity, beliefs, and decision-making process have not evolved to match their next level.

I discovered this firsthand when I had to level up at breakneck speed – while simultaneously mentoring top talent to refine and monetize their genius. I mastered this process while:

Co-creating two animated series that sold globally – learning how to package and pitch intellectual property at the highest level.

Consulting on Hollywood projects – navigating industry challenges where only the boldest ideas and sharpest execution win.

Co-publishing a romantasy novel, LOVE, CUPID and gaining international media attention while proving that creative innovation paired with strategic marketing is a force multiplier.

But the most powerful work I do is guiding clients through their own quantum evolution – helping them double their income, step into industry-defining leadership, and master the mindset shifts that make success inevitable. Individual results vary, but the framework remains the same – learn it once, use it for life.

My Modern Millionaire™ accelerator is designed for those who are done with incremental progress and ready for exponential expansion. For those who refuse to stay at the same level of influence, income, or impact another year. And for those who are willing to take decisive action before they feel ready.

Because success is not about waiting for the right time – it is about stepping into the version of yourself who commands it now.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three most impactful qualities in my journey continue to be big-dream vision, agility, and identity evolution.

Big-Dream Vision gives me the drive to pursue inspiring outcomes. Agility keeps me moving forward even when the path is unclear. Identity evolution encourages me to shatter my own self-imposed inner glass ceiling (we all have one) and soar to greater heights.

For those early in their journey, here is what I have learned:

The biggest flex is not just upgrading your self-perception – it is deciding you are worthy of wealth, success, and opportunity regardless of how you feel on any given day. Confidence fluctuates. Worth does not.

Monetize your genius sooner. Package what you know. Sell before you feel ready. The faster you build value around what you do best, the faster you create income, credibility, and leverage for bigger moves.

Success happens in motion. Stop waiting for the perfect plan or the perfect version of yourself before you start. Act first. Adapt in real time.

And when self-doubt creeps in? Remember: You do not need to feel unstoppable to be unstoppable. You just need to move forward. Decide you belong at the highest level and commit to your own evolution.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

The temptation to focus on breakdowns instead of breakthroughs is pretty universal. It’s the ‘problem-aware’ troubleshooter approach, which works well at the production level.

But at the founder level, I have to keep my eye on the prize.

That means being more committed to progress than problems. For example, my lilazrose.com website was hacked right in the middle of launching LOVE, CUPID. Instead of getting stuck in frustration, I focused on a quick fix. It’s not perfect, but it keeps the momentum going – and momentum is everything.

That is the shift I challenge myself to make every day – and I invite my clients to do the same.

Building success on what is working rather than obsessing over what is not has made the journey more magical. I really believe you can create a life you love while loving the life you have.
