We recently connected with Linda Vazin and have shared our conversation below.

Linda, we sincerely appreciate you joining us today and agreeing to talk about some very personal topics. So, to kick things off, let’s talk about a tough one – divorce. Can you talk to us about how you overcame divorce?

Divorce was one of the hardest times of my life. Sleepless nights, endless stress, everything feeling uncertain…finances, stability, even friendships shifting and taking sides, while my heart was aching and I still had to make big decisions.
What changed everything for me was finding breathwork. Even though I was already a yoga instructor, meditating, eating well, and doing “all the right things,” deep diaphragmatic breathwork was a whole new experience. In just a few sessions, I released more tension than I had in years of therapy. But the real gift wasn’t just the release. It was the insight.
Through those sessions, I started to see my own patterns. Yes, my exes cheated and behaved badly, and I had every right to be angry. But I also realized I was the one choosing them. Over and over again, I was drawn to men who ignored me because, deep down, being invisible was what felt familiar. Growing up, I often felt unseen by my parents, so invisibility had become my “comfort zone.”
The moment I took responsibility for that pattern, everything shifted. Suddenly, being invisible was no longer acceptable. I felt empowered, clear, and free to choose differently. That was the real healing, not just moving past divorce, but breaking the cycle and reclaiming my worth.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I love supporting people through life’s biggest transitions, whether it’s old trauma resurfacing, the pain of divorce or heartbreak, or simply that feeling of being stuck without knowing why. In those moments, it can feel almost impossible to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But I know it’s possible, because I’ve walked that road myself, and I’ve helped so many others find their way forward. My role is to walk alongside my clients, hold their hand through the process, and create a space where they feel truly supported.
Although I’ve earned multiple coaching certifications and weave in those methods, the core of my work is breathwork; specifically deep, sustained breathing sessions. Not just five or ten minutes, but 40–45 minutes of intentional breathing that allows the nervous system to soften, protective layers to release, and the mind to enter altered states where real healing and insight can happen.
My specialty is also body-based. With a master’s in exercise physiology and years of working with athletes and people recovering from injuries, I understand the body on a deep level. Trauma doesn’t just live in the mind; it gets stored in the body. During sessions, I can often sense where it’s stuck and help my clients access and release it in a safe and powerful way.
Where I’m heading now is expanding this work into the legal field. I’ve started bringing breathwork to attorneys, not only to help them reduce stress, sharpen focus, and find balance in their own lives, but also to use in mediations and high-conflict situations. When people breathe and ground themselves, they make decisions from clarity instead of fear or anger. That shift changes everything.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey were curiosity, courage, and listening to my body.

I originally earned my degree in Computer Science, and while I was good at math and computers, working as a programmer left me deeply unhappy. After a year and a half, I left my job, feeling a lot of shame since my parents had paid for college and were proud of my achievements. But something inside me knew I couldn’t spend my life sitting behind the computer.

I followed my curiosity back to school to study Exercise Physiology, because I loved movement, the outdoors, and the connection between body and mind. That path eventually led me to work with athletes, Navy SEALs, and incredible people from all walks of life.

My advice to anyone early in their journey is this: try different things. Don’t choose a path just because of money or other people’s expectations. Listen to your body, your mind, and your heart. If something feels lifeless, it’s not your path. If it makes you feel alive, that’s the direction to follow. You have one life; build it around what lights you up. Everything else will fall into place.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client isn’t someone who has it all figured out; it’s someone who’s struggling, but willing to do the work. That willingness is everything. When someone shows up open and ready, the energy is contagious, and transformation always follows.
Honestly, I’ve never seen a client commit to the process with an open heart and not experience incredible results.
I live for those moments…watching someone shift from feeling stuck, heavy, or hopeless into a place of motivation, lightness, and joy. It’s the most rewarding part of what I do. And yes, I’ll admit it – seeing those transformations might make me a little codependent (LOL), but truly, it fills me up every single time.
