We were lucky to catch up with Lindiwe Greenwood recently and have shared our conversation below.
Lindiwe, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from my core belief that ultimately, we are all here on this earth with a divine and personalized purpose. When things get difficult and/or don’t go as planned, It has been my experience that “adversity breeds ingenuity.” It is pretty much guaranteed that we will all have our fair share of “falls.” However its the getting back up that is most important.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

We are currently developing a destination wellness retreat as well as a podcast, and an online health and wellness library of resources and coursework.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
When I think on the most important qualities that have been most impactful on my journey, I would have to say the qualities of ingenuity, adaptability, and fortitude have served me the most. The road to anything worth having is often paved with challenges. These challenges help us to discover our growth edges. Once your edges are identified, It is important to develop a strategy to not only overcome these edges, but to use the lessons learned as fuel to move forward and innovate a roadmap for the next chapter.
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did for me was to give me a clear vision of what my life could be and permission to pursue that vision despite what the world around me might have shown me. My parents lived all over the country and even world. From a very young age they encouraged me to be open to other cultures, customs, and ways of thinking to broaden my exposure. This went a long way to help me to develop a sense of myself and to not limit my vision and latitude for my own growth and journey. The support and positive reinforcement that they provided to me and still provide to me til this day is priceless.
