Meet Lindsay White

We were lucky to catch up with Lindsay White recently and have shared our conversation below.

Lindsay, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

As a mom of three, I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming the breastfeeding journey can be—especially when the world makes you feel like you’re doing something wrong for simply feeding your baby. I found my purpose because I had a situation where I was shamed for openly breastfeeding in public at a wedding. Driving home that night, I told my husband I was going to create a brand and space to help moms to never feel afraid to unapologetically feed their baby anytime, anywhere.

What motivates me every single day is making sure no mom ever feels the shame I once felt. I want breastfeeding parents to feel seen, supported, and empowered to feed their babies whenever and wherever they need to—without judgment. At The Little Milk Bar, we’re not just selling products; we’re creating a movement that helps normalize and celebrate breastfeeding in all spaces. I am not only here to be your best friend, but to fight alongside all mamas to know their breastfeeding rights.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

It started with one simple T-shirt—the Milk Maker Tee—which sold out in just a few hours. It wasn’t just a shirt; it was a message. A statement. That breastfeeding is normal, it’s powerful, and it belongs everywhere. Since then, The Little Milk Bar has grown into a powerful community of women who support each other through the highs and lows of motherhood. Our brand has become a voice for change—whether it’s through unapologetic merch, viral social media posts, or grassroots advocacy.

One of our proudest wins was helping change Meta’s advertising policy for breastfeeding images. After launching a petition and pushing for change, Meta now allows breastfeeding photos to be advertised—something that was flagged and blocked before. It’s one small step in a much bigger fight, but it shows that when moms come together, we’re unstoppable.

Since then, I’ve developed a range of essentials for mamas on their breastfeeding journey and have some many more amazing products coming out!! Things are really going to get exciting for The Little Milk Bar in the 2026 and I can’t wait to share with everyone!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

One quality I have is tenacity – if someone tells me I can’t do something, I’m going to find a way to do it and do it big!! With my focus in Graphic Design and Marketing, I am always trying to push the envelope to think outside the box and make things fun and exciting for my customers! One Example is our Press Boxes – I always make them exciting, interactive and creative for the recipient because I want them to feel special receiving products from The Little Milk Bar.

Another area of focus for me is networking – every time I put myself out there and go to a event and meet new people, something amazing comes from it. It’s so important to step away from the computer or office and really get out there to engage with people and communities. This is really where you get to know your customers and what they are looking for and to be able to be a friend to my customers.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

In the last 12 months, I’ve really focused on hiring a team of people to help support me. I’ve always said, “do what you do best and hire out the rest!” This has allowed me to focus more on the things that I’m great at and being able to delegate the things I need help with to the people I’ve hired along the way. This is tough as a leader, because it takes building trust, laying foundations of expectations for your team and holding them accountable for their actions! It’s not always easy as a leader, but if you have a team with you that you can trust, it makes the world of difference.
