We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lindsey Rapp. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lindsey below.
Hi Lindsey, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I built my confidence and self-esteem by merging my background in nutrition with advanced esthetics to help people feel good in their skin. When I opened Lindsey Rapp Skin in Waterford, Michigan, I saw how treatments like Korean facials, microneedling, and anti-aging facials not only transformed skin but also gave clients a new sense of self-assurance. Watching them leave glowing reinforced my own belief in the power of skincare and gave me the courage to grow my practice. Today, clients across Detroit visit my studio not just for results-driven facials, but for the confidence and care that come with them.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
At Lindsey Rapp Skin in Waterford, Michigan, I specialize in facials that combine the best of Korean skincare with advanced facial massage techniques. My focus is on creating treatments that are not only effective for skin health but also deeply relaxing, so every client leaves glowing and renewed. I also offer microneedling with the FDA-cleared SkinPen, one of my favorite treatments.
Korean skincare emphasizes skin health, hydration, and prevention, which perfectly complements microneedling’s ability to stimulate collagen and improve texture. Together, these services give clients visible results and lasting confidence.
What makes my brand special is the balance of science and relaxation—clients leave with visible results and a renewed sense of confidence. I’m proud to serve clients across Detroit who are looking for personalized, high-quality skincare.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that shaped my journey most were dedication to education, resilience, and client connection. My background in nutrition gave me a deeper understanding of the gut-skin connection, while ongoing training in Korean skincare and microneedling allowed me to bring advanced, effective treatments to my clients. Resilience helped me push through the challenges of building a business, and prioritizing connection ensures every client feels cared for and valued.
For anyone starting out, my advice is to invest in education, stay adaptable when things don’t go as planned, and never underestimate the power of relationships. Building trust and delivering results will always set your work apart.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes, I love collaborating with others in the wellness and beauty space. I connect especially well with professionals who value holistic health, luxury self-care, and results-driven treatments. These include wellness coaches, nutritionists, massage therapists, yoga and fitness instructors, and local boutique businesses. Collaborations that bring value to our community while helping people look and feel their best are always exciting.
