Lisa , thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?

I have to be honest and admit that there are times when it is more difficult than others but I always look for the positive. I choose to do the very best I can and try to learn and grow every day. This means that I have to be honest with myself and admit where I have made mistakes. It is in this peace that comes with this approach that allows me to choose the positive outlook. I have learned to have faith in the hardest of times. When faced with the biggest challenges, I make a choice to take one decision at a time and make sure I do the next right thing. If I would look at the challenge as a whole, it would be too overwhelming. When I take one right choice at a time and let go of the rest and have faith the the other details will fall into place, I can persist. I have faced plenty of challenges and hard times and that has allowed me to build a strong foundation of action paired with faith. I think it is important to know that persisitence is something that is built through choosing to learn from the difficulties we face

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I would love to collaborate with the many women who still do not have access to proper fitting workwear, PPE, and footwear. I want to be a part of helping them to advocate for themselves and the other women they work for.
