Meet Lisa Resnick

We recently connected with Lisa Resnick and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?

Despite the haters and naysayers, I’ve kept going by focusing on my mission and the people I serve. I’d be silly to think I wouldn’t have critics—there have been moments when I’ve received calls, texts, or messages from people saying what I’m doing is awesome or thanking me for my work, but they follow it up with, “You’re doing it despite those who make fun.” And yes, as human as I am, those comments can catch me off guard, but I choose to focus on the good. Because ultimately, it is my choice. I concentrate on the people who truly believe in what I’m doing, rather than those who don’t. When I meet with members in our one-on-one consults, I remind them that trying to win over that one passive or aggressive person in their office, potential client, or team takes so much more energy than it’s worth. Instead, wouldn’t it be better to pour that energy into the people who already or are wanting support you? We aren’t meant to be for everyone—and thank God for that! If we were, we’d end up overwhelmed and burnt out. It’s about recognizing where our energy truly makes an impact.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m Lisa Resnick, and I’m the founder of Dandelion-Inc, where I focus on creating a space for entrepreneurs to grow, thrive, and build meaningful connections. What’s most exciting about my work is the opportunity to help people tap into their full potential while maintaining balance in their personal and professional lives. I believe that community, accountability, and support are key ingredients to success, and I’m passionate about offering personalized guidance that really connects with where people are in their journey.

Right now, my focus is on expanding our membership programs, including Time Mastery for Entrepreneurs, which is designed to help people get a handle on their time and energy while growing their businesses. We’re also launching new resources, like video guides and workshops, to provide entrepreneurs with actionable tools to scale and stay aligned with their purpose. Another exciting aspect is the podcast series I’m launching, where we’ll dive into stories of business growth, personal challenges, and how to keep pushing forward despite the hurdles.

I’m also passionate about community building through events and workshops, and I’m currently working on a few virtual accountability groups to help members stay focused, share their wins, and offer each other support. What sets Dandelion-Inc apart is the deep sense of connection and reciprocity we foster—our members don’t just join, they belong. That’s something I’m really proud of and excited to grow even further.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I’d say the three qualities that had the most impact on my journey were resilience, self-awareness, and the ability to build genuine connections.

Resilience has been key—being able to bounce back from setbacks and keep moving forward has allowed me to navigate the inevitable challenges of entrepreneurship. For anyone early in their journey, I’d advise building that muscle by getting comfortable with discomfort. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow, even when it doesn’t feel like it in the moment.

Self-awareness has also played a big role. Understanding my strengths, weaknesses, and boundaries helped me make smarter decisions for myself and my business. I’d encourage others to take the time to reflect on what truly drives them and be honest about areas that need growth. This isn’t about perfection, but about knowing yourself well enough to steer your journey in a way that aligns with your values.

Finally, building genuine connections has been a game-changer. People talk about networking, but I’m all about community and real relationships. It’s not just about who you know, but about cultivating meaningful relationships with people who believe in you and your mission. My advice is to focus on authenticity—connect with others from a place of sincerity, and those relationships will become the foundation of your success.

For those just starting out, remember to stay patient with yourself, lean into your strengths, and keep building those relationships. It’s a long game, but these three areas will keep you grounded and moving forward.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Absolutely! I’m always looking for like-minded individuals to partner and collaborate with, especially those who are passionate about community-building, personal growth, and supporting entrepreneurs. I love working with people who bring fresh ideas, are driven by purpose, and are excited about making a meaningful impact—whether through workshops, podcast guest appearances, collaborative events, or even creating new resources for entrepreneurs.

If you’re someone who values authentic connections and wants to collaborate on projects that help people grow both personally and professionally, I’d love to hear from you! You can reach me at [email protected] or connect with me through our Dandelion-Inc Facebook or Instagram page. Let’s explore how we can work together to bring even more value to the communities we serve!
