We were lucky to catch up with Lisa Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Lisa, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?
I remember walking into the welcome dinner at a business mastermind in Mexico and immediately feeling out of place. Everyone was talking about KPIs, ROI, scaling strategies, and team performance. I could hear the confidence in their voices, but I didn’t understand a word of what they were saying. I’m an energy worker. I read people’s emotions, not their balance sheets.
That night, I felt small. I kept thinking, What am I doing here? I’d been invited to speak about intuition and connection, which felt far removed from spreadsheets and profit margins. I had walked red carpets and spoken to millions about spirit, but this room full of business minds made me more nervous than any stage I had ever faced.
At dinner, a couple at my table asked what I did. My first instinct was to make it sound more business-friendly. Instead, I told the truth. “I’m a medium,” I said. “I help people connect with spirit and learn to trust their intuition.”
There was a short silence, then they started asking questions. Real questions. About fear, decision-making, and how to listen to something deeper than logic. It surprised me how quickly the conversation shifted from numbers to something real.
In that moment, I knew why I was there. I didn’t have to speak their language. I could offer another perspective, one rooted in faith and energy.
Over the next few days, people came to me quietly. They wanted to talk about loss, burnout, and the strange experiences they didn’t know how to explain. They weren’t dismissing what I did. They were looking for meaning. All it took was one honest conversation to open the door.
That week taught me that being the only one in the room can be a good thing. I learned that effectiveness doesn’t come from knowing the numbers. It comes from showing up as myself, grounded, aware, and willing to speak from truth.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I help people identify their fears and the emotional blocks that keep them stuck. My work is about empowering people to trust their intuition so they can make decisions that move them forward. Most people don’t realize how much fear runs their life until they stop and look at it. I help them face it, understand it, and turn it into strength.
The part of my work that lights me up is teaching and speaking. I love working with people who are ready to change their lives, who know they have work to do and are finally ready to do it. Those are my kind of people. I become their biggest supporter and their secret weapon. Whether it’s one-on-one, in a large group, or on stage, I love watching people wake up to their own power.
My mission has always been to help people see that they already have the answers. They don’t need to rely on someone else to tell them what’s coming or what to do next. I’ve worked as a psychic and a medium for many years, and I often wish people could see what I see when I connect with them, because if they could, they would know how capable they already are. Their fears are younger parts of themselves that need reassurance. Once they know they’re safe, life opens up.
Right now, my focus is on Prismora, a new project that blends strategy, AI data, and intuition. It helps people make confident decisions by combining logic with spiritual awareness. Prismora is a membership community that reminds people they’re not alone. We host bi-monthly calls and walk members through simple steps to recognize and release fear. Fear doesn’t have to control you. Awareness can change everything. When you step into your intuition, you can accomplish far more than you imagine. Prismora launches November 25, 2025.
What makes our approach unique is the way we bring two worlds together: AI and business strategy with intuition and energy. After years of working with people, I’ve realized that most come to a psychic or a medium because they’re afraid. But what if you didn’t need anyone else to tell you what’s next? What if you could learn to listen to yourself? You don’t have to be psychic; you just have to trust. That’s what Prismora teaches.
After the membership launches, we’ll host our first retreat within six months. Right now, my focus is on building Prismora and helping people connect awareness, intuition, and action.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
When I look back on my career and everything I’ve learned, three qualities stand out: intuition, adaptability, and curiosity. They have guided every decision I have made and helped me connect with people from all walks of life.
My intuition developed through years of doing readings. People would come back to tell me I was right about things I couldn’t have known, and that taught me to trust myself. Over time, I learned to pause before reacting, to listen to that quiet voice inside me, and to let it guide me.
Adapting to people came naturally through experience. I realized early on that everyone has something they are dealing with, no matter their background or success level. I have worked with executives in boardrooms helping them make decisions about company direction, and with business owners choosing new locations that align with the right energy. Saying yes to those opportunities taught me how to adjust, read a room, and meet people where they are.
Curiosity keeps me growing. I have always wanted to understand what makes people tick, what they want, what they fear, and what drives them. When I listen closely, I can help them find what they truly need, not just what they think they are searching for.
If I were giving advice to someone early in their journey, I would tell them to create space each day to listen to themselves. Sit in silence. Journal. Get to know your fears and what is behind them. Learn to trust your intuition first, then build your strategy around that. When you do, everything starts to flow more naturally.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing my parents ever gave me was freedom. I am grateful they are both still alive. We used to see each other every day until they moved to Spain and I moved to the United States within a month of each other. That was 19 years ago. It was hard to be apart, but the foundation they gave me made it easier to stand on my own.
My mother used to say, “Please yourself.” At the time, I took it as her being a little sharp or dismissive. Later, I realized it was one of the best pieces of advice I ever received. Those two words became a mantra that stayed with me through every stage of my life.
Freedom taught me to trust myself. It showed me that I didn’t have to conform or follow anyone else’s path. I could build a life and a career that reflected who I truly am. That lesson has shaped everything I do and every decision I make.
