Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Loreana Lonigro. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Loreana, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Why do we do the things we do? what drives me from the inside out?
I was born to serve. I have been morphing in different ways throughout the course of my life from childhood to teenage to now an adult, and I realize that despite the changes in my life, my personality, and perspective in life I am still constantly serving the community around me. Professionally, I have developed a career as a health care advocate as I serve the autism spectrum community as a therapist. Artistically, I have been writing about freedom, love, and unity while re-assessing societal norms and doctrines with the intention to spread knowledge; hence serving the community. As I retrospect into my life, a pattern to serving the community is clear. I feel passionate about making a positive change in the world by positively impacting the environment around me.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a producer, composer, artist and songwriter, but don’t call me YE! I am my own person and proud of every one of my artistic accomplishments. I embarked on a music journey in 2020 and since then I have released two extended playlists and 21 singles. I have also collaborated with globally established artists like Pedro Peligro and Apache. This year, with only 2,000 monthly listeners I have been invited to perform at the South By South West, the largest music, film and entertainment festival in Texas. Honestly, I don’t even know how this is happening. I have been a Miami Beach Pride Fest performer for the last 3 consecutive years, and I am proud once again to represent my community and give minority groups a voice as I am a part of minority groups. I am a queer immigrant with a strong faith in Jesus.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think human sciences, literature and religion have shaped my artistic career. If you are a rapper, read as much as you can about what makes you passionate or about what you wish to express. I believe education is priceless.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I would like to connect with Booking Agents in the United States. I think it would give my music career an unexpected boost. It is only a matter of time now.
