We were lucky to catch up with Loren Jackson Adams recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Loren , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My family! My grandparents and parents. Whether I witnessed them waking up at 5 a.m. to catch a bus across town or arrive on time to an office space/classroom, I witnessed high levels of commitment and set priorities to ensure tasks were complete so that they can enjoy the fruits of the labor.
My family worked to create memories and moments for their loved ones and to provide for their families. And, of course, levels of financial freedom. In the words of my Mom, “Where’s your pay stub?!?” Lol.
Today, I choose to extend those goals in addition to creating more investments and legacy opportunities for my children. But, not for them to receive a hand out! I will continue to teach my legacy that hard work counts, hard work earns!
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
We are a travel consulting firm that offers professional travel problem solving solutions and sales services. We partner with trusted industry vendors and community organizations that extend reliable services and authentic experiences to our customers and align with our brand.
We are the producers of “The Travel Experience: Spotlighting Maryland’s Tourism & Culture”TM. We spotlight Maryland’s tourism industry by partnering with local vendors that aim to provide memorable, unique, and positive tourism experiences for our loyal clientele. This is an annual event held in the Maryland region.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Consistency, being able to pivot, and professionalism. My advice for new agents/business owners is to always educate yourself and establish a niche.
How would you describe your ideal client?
Our ideal client is one who seeks trusted advisement in making proper travel decisions. Not one just seeking a deal.
We work hard to establish relationships and obtain credible information to gear our customers in the best direction. We welcome those who aim to become loyal clients and extend referrals to build community awareness and ensure travel security for our customers.
