Meet Loui$ Automatic

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Loui$ Automatic. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Loui$, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

I had to remind myself of all the work I put in. I know I deserve to be here. In retrospect it’s kind of scary because I named my company Paid-Da-Co$t, ENT so long ago. Even at an early age I had a keen sense of earning my rep and whether it was establishing my business, overcoming various obstacles, or even finishing my bachelors degree back in 2019 I know in my heart I’ve paid all my dues and I haven’t skipped any steps. When I look in the mirror I love the person I see. The people I see and meet in the streets tell me the feel my vibe and they respect my grind on the daily.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I see myself as an artist in the purest form. My mother taught fine arts and jewelry for over 30 years in the Detroit Public Schools system so I grew up around all type of artistic expressions. From plays/musicals to art exhibits my mom had me everywhere. so I guess that’s why my creative exploits vary as the do. I am a rapper as well as an actor but I also work behind the scenes as an audio engineer/producer, videographer, as well as podcast host. As before mentioned I also own my own multimedia company Paid-Da-Co$t ENT

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Honestly it’s perseverance, dedication and most importantly the ability to take advice. You must be humble and willing to take directions. The greatest players are the ones who listen to their coaches. Some advice I would give is the fastest way to get somewhere is to model the behavior of those who have done what you want to do successfully, so find a mentor who can guide you in the right direction.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill comes to mind. The nugget of wisdom lies in the fact the power to create the world we want all lies within the faculties the Universe has bestowed upon us and we must simply look with ourselves to uncover the greatest gem of all.
