Meet Love For All

We were lucky to catch up with Love For All recently and have shared our conversation below.

Love, we are so appreciative of you taking the time to open up about the extremely important, albeit personal, topic of mental health. Can you talk to us about your journey and how you were able to overcome the challenges related to mental issues? For readers, please note this is not medical advice, we are not doctors, you should always consult professionals for advice and that this is merely one person sharing their story and experience.

REACH: When my mental health was at its lowest and darkest, what helped most was remembering that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. For me, that light is Jesus, and keeping my focus on Him through prayer, reading His Word, and maintaining godly friendships allowed me to keep going on the hardest days. It also gave me the perspective to write music that was dark and authentic but never without hope.

KAE: Being in the right community that can point you in the right direction is so important. We’re not meant to walk this life alone, and it becomes more meaningful when we do it together. Mental health isn’t something that just disappears, but with help it becomes easier to handle. Adam was given Eve, and we were given each other.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

KAE: Hey. We are Love For All! I’m Kae, the leader of the group and vocalist.

REACH: I’m Reach, the lead guitarist.

CHI: My name is Chi. I’m the drummer.

KAE: We are a rising pop-rock group from Baltimore City with a passion for catchy tunes, rockin’ shows, and spreading love. We’ve been on this journey for about 4 years, and we are excited to see where it takes us.

REACH: One of the best parts about what we do is getting to meet many new people, whether fans or fellow musicians. It’s amazing getting to witness the talent and passion present in our community, to play alongside them, encourage them, and get excited about what other bands are doing.

CHI: We’re working on new projects where we get to tell new stories and add some fresh styles to our discography. Keep a look out in the next few months for our next release. Also, we are always on the lookout for new opportunities to play live and showcase our abilities, so we are exploring new songs and elements to add to our shows.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

CHI: Creativity. Be open to try something new and explore outside your box. Make suggestions that seem silly or dumb and see if they can work or lead to something better. You never know what will be the next great idea.

REACH: Failure. When you try stuff, it’s going to go wrong and be bad. Allow yourself to fail as you rise, because those poor showings will teach you so much and accelerate your growth if you choose to persevere and overcome. Any failure can make or break you.

KAE: I think authenticity is strength, being yourself. It helps to separate you from the masses and properly reflect who you are, but it also helps to show your unique identity. Like we mention in our song ‘Snowflake,’ all of us are different forms of beauty needing to be shown.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

KAE: Personally, I would say performing. We’ve gotten a lot of opportunities to perform over the last few months, and it has only grown us as entertainers and journey-takers. Thankfully, we’ve been able to enhance the quality of our performances the more we get to play. We get to look back and review what we liked and what we didn’t and discover ways to improve.
