Meet Love Jewel

We recently connected with Love Jewel and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Love, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I think the question should be more like “How do you keep finding your purpose?” Our assignments shift depending on our willingness to evolve to higher callings. Purpose is limitless. Purpose can use anything and anybody.
Because Purpose has nothing to do with us as individuals but everything to do with The agenda of God.

I didn’t stumble into purpose like tripping over a stone in the road. Purpose isn’t something you just “know” the moment you wake up one day, it’s something whispered, something Spirit-led. The more I tried to search within myself, the more I realized purpose wasn’t buried inside of me at all. It was waiting for me to step outside of myself, to quiet the noise, and to lean into the Spirit.

Now I see that while I walk this path with my own two feet, I’m not the one holding the map. I’m navigating, yes,but the route is already charted. My purpose is less about my own direction and more about surrendering to the One who directs.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

LoveJewel is someone who creates with both heart and intention. Everything created is rooted in passion, purpose, living by a simple truth: everything I touch should carry a reminder that I was there, not just me as a person, but the love and light of God shining through me. For we arent suppose to live in vain. That’s what I pour into my music, my connections in the community, and my business. I don’t just want people to see it, I want them to feel it. an energy, a presence, a love that leaves a mark long after the moment has passed.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I followed my urge to be sat aside from the crowd. I was Disciplined enough to have a cautious way of thinking. Often seeing the big picture before locking myself into the frame. That caution helped me be particular in my choices. Selective in my connections. That doesnt mean I didnt make sloppy mistakes. Because I did. It just means I was aware enough to avoid destroying my future. Wild enough to believe i was somebody who’d create impact.

My advice is become an asset in the smallest room because by the time you reach the biggest room they’ll know your name.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

One of my favorite books is Failing Forward by John Maxwell, and it reminds me daily that the only way to truly be the best… is to fail the best! Every mistake is an opportunity to learn, grow, and glow brighter than before.
