Lu, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
When asked, “How did you find your purpose?” I realize that it was never part of my plan; it emerged unexpectedly through heartbreak and resilience. My true purpose became clear during one of the most challenging times in my life. When my child fell ill, I stepped away from a successful corporate sales career, thinking it would only be temporary. But those four years changed everything. When I tried to return, re-entering at my former level was nearly impossible. Out of necessity, I turned to real estate—a path I now call a “crisis career,” as it’s often where people turn when life pushes them into unexpected transitions. But what began as a reluctant pivot quickly blossomed into both a passion and a calling.
Real estate gave me the freedom and fulfillment I hadn’t realized I was missing, and I discovered my true purpose: to be a trusted guide, helping others navigate some of life’s biggest decisions.

From Top Producer to Coach and Mentor
Today, I’m not just achieving success as a top-producing agent, fully embracing the excitement of the real estate world—I’m also committed to coaching fellow agents. Think of me as that candid friend who tells you the truth, even when you might prefer comforting platitudes. My goal? To help agents tap into their potential in an industry that can feel more like a reality survival show than a business! With nearly 87% of new agents leaving within five years, it’s clear this job takes more than just enthusiasm. Grit, perseverance, and a support system are must-haves for thriving in this field.
I know the highs and lows of being a realtor because I live it daily. I help agents embrace their role as small business owners and navigate the chaotic waters of real estate. We tackle the hurdles together, share the wins, and transform challenges into growth. It’s a lot more rewarding when we travel this journey side by side.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
As Mel Robbins says, “Success comes from experience, and experience comes from failing.” If you’re facing setbacks, take it as a reminder—you’re on the right path.
Three Key Qualities for Lasting Success
My journey has taught me three essential qualities:
Perseverance: Staying committed even when the going gets tough.
Resilience in Failure: Every setback has provided lessons and shaped my growth.
Endurance: It’s the ability to keep going, no matter how challenging the road, that ultimately leads to success.
As the saying goes, “You don’t have enough time in life to make all the necessary mistakes; learn from others.” This resonates deeply with me. Learning from those who have come before us means we can avoid common pitfalls and maximize our own growth. We’re all part of a larger community, where shared knowledge and experience are priceless in driving each other forward.
