We were lucky to catch up with Luar Negron recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Luar, appreciate you sitting with us today. Maybe we can start with a topic that we care deeply about because it’s something we’ve found really sets folks apart and can make all the difference in whether someone reaches their goals. Self discipline seems to have an outsized impact on how someone’s life plays out and so we’d love to hear about how you developed yours?
My self discipline comes from my breakdance years ago where I first discovered my passion for music. training every day even when not motivated to do so. In the very same way i wake up and make music or play music regardless of the motivation of that particular day.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am a producer who makes electronic music, more specifically TechHouse; Bringing heavy underground vibes taking my latin side and pouring it into my creations. Adding to my catalog this year a variety of other sub genres of electronic music and collaborations with artist from the island.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My three most important quialities/ skills are; my dedication the hours I grind away in the piano training. getting informed about current music business information. Community, build a like minded community of people who have the same or very similar interests as it will help you develop your overlooked areas,

my advice; Keep grindind. patience dont give up. Learn as much as you can and implement it.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
