Hi Luciana, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I owe my optimism to my mother and my strong faith in God. My mom’s always had a very positive attitude and has taught me to see the glass half full instead of half empty. This is something that has stuck with me, especially throughout my entrepreneurial journey. I work hard and always pray for the best, but something I’ve learned is that things will not always go your way. Lucky for me, I’ve never had something taken away from me without receiving something better in return.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
We are an online fashion boutique for women’s clothing. Our brand represents the girls who like to dress up and feel their best while also staying comfortable. We have a wide variety of pieces and our prices range from super affordable to a bit more high-end, depending on the quality and availability of the item. At the moment, we are offering so many summer items and vacation fits!
We are online based but have a warehouse in Miami where we offer same-day pick-up. Our team is small but our growth is big and each order we receive is carefully packaged by yours truly.
I love what I do and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Elite Styles Boutique.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that were crucial in my entrepreneurial journey were: staying consistent, keeping a positive attitude and embracing the “just do it” mentality.
It might be tough at first, but staying consistent is key. This will eventually create enduring habits over time.
Keeping a positive attitude is fundamental. Know that there will be road blocks along the way and learn to come up with solutions instead of focusing so much on the problem.
Embracing the “just do it” mentality was a game changer for me. I’m an introvert and have always been a very private person, but I’ve learned that growth requires getting out of our comfort zones. Do the thing and don’t worry about what people will say.
