Luke, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Experience. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past 15 years of video production, it’s that experience will give you the confidence you need to keep pursuing your passion. At some point, early on in my professional career, I realized that I need to continually push myself out of my comfort zone in order to really learn and grow in my field. That means saying “yes” to projects that I wouldn’t have thought to take on and consciously taking chances when given the opportunity. Over time, when I completed challenging projects successfully, I found that this mindset opened doors to network with new people and steadily built up my confidence. Meeting new people, especially my teammates at Regal Fierce Media, has bolstered my self-esteem because I know we have the real-world experience and track record to back up our business pursuits.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am the Director of Video Productions at Regal Fierce Media. Our goal is to provide clients with personalized, strategic, and professional marketing solutions to help them connect with their audiences. Since our launch in 2020, we’ve grown and thrived as a marketing agency, expanding our reach beyond Tucson to serve clients in other cities.
With 15 years of experience in video production, I can confidently say that this is my passion. Working in such a creatively diverse field brings me a lot of gratification, as each day presents unique challenges.
As a lifelong Tucsonan, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to witness the growth and changes in this town over the past few decades. My deep understanding of the local culture and values allows me to create video content that truly resonates with our target audience.
In my role as the Director of Video Productions, I am constantly seeking new and innovative ways to tell compelling stories through video. Whether it’s a commercial, a documentary, or a promotional video, I am dedicated to ensuring that each project we take on is executed with the highest level of creativity and professionalism. I believe that video has the power to evoke emotions and drive action, and I am committed to harnessing that power to help our clients achieve their marketing goals.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
It’s super important to listen to your clients and use what you know to help them out. When you understand what they need and what’s on their mind, you can give them advice and suggestions that are just right for them. This not only helps you build trust and a good relationship with your clients, but it also means you can offer them the best solutions.
When advertising for your company, always keep this message in mind. Whether through marketing materials, social media, or any other platform, ensure that the core values and benefits of your products or services are effectively communicated. Consistency and clarity in your messaging will help create a strong and memorable brand image.
Embrace new technology, as the results are worth it. In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements can give your company a competitive edge. From leveraging data analytics for insightful marketing strategies to investing in new hardware and gadgets like cameras and microphones to create quality content, integrating new technology can enhance efficiency and propel your business forward.
