Meet Lulu Romero

We were lucky to catch up with Lulu Romero recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lulu, thank you so much for joining us today. There are so many topics we could discuss, but perhaps one of the most relevant is empathy because it’s at the core of great leadership and so we’d love to hear about how you developed your empathy?

The conditions that allowed me to develop empathy came from the space I was in growing up and personal struggles. Growing up in a difficult environment I learned quickly how it feels to be unheard and unseen. Building my business depended on my lesson with empathy, listening to customers share their stories and why they’ve also turned into healing. I realized I wasn’t just meant to create but to listen and hold space for others. Those moments, with others, rebuilding myself from nothing, taught me that empathy is born when you truly understand pain and resilience.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My work is all about creating intentional tools & experiences to help bring people back to themselves. Each piece is design to be reminder to move with intention, mindfulness and clarity. Over time my work has expanded into healing arts where i now offer reiki and sound bath sessions that creates a safe space to release, rest and renew. What excites me the most is seeing how art and healing align together. My brand continues to grow in ways to honor creativity and spiritually with space, products and experiences. My most exciting news at the moment is out new brick and mortar location inside Painted Tree Kingwood Booth P3 where I’ll be offering my handmade creations as well short services like Reiki and sound baths.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Some quality and skills id offer as an advice to any one resilience, empathy & creativity. Allowing to build and creative an authentic platform thought my art and healing practices. For anyone starting I’d recommend embracing setbacks, create from the heart and intentions and most importantly be empathetic with yourself and others.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

The biggest area of growth in the last 12 months was given me grace and space. I took a break from my business for almost half of the year; id beat myself up that id invested to much energy to give up but quickly realized I did it for myself and still need to continue for myself. It allowed me to give myself the time and space to restart, refresh and renew. Took the time to deepen my spiritual practice, took reiki classes, retreats and dove into a self-development journey.
