Lusine, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose through my faith. I started to read what God says about me instead of allowing the world to define me. As I drew closer to Him, I began to see that my artistry wasn’t just a talent — it was a tool. Through makeup, I get to help women see the beauty God placed inside them and remind them of their worth. What I find so sweet about God is that when He created mankind, He blessed them. What an honor to be blessed by the King of the universe! My purpose is to use my art to reflect His love, helping others see themselves the way He does — fearfully and wonderfully made.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m an Emmy-nominated makeup artist, photographer, author, and founder of Faithful Beauty Academy. For years, I worked with celebrities, traveled the world, and achieved incredible milestones — yet deep down, I felt something was missing. It wasn’t until I surrendered my life to God and began studying His Word that I realized my true purpose: to use my artistry to glorify Him and help women see their beauty through His eyes.

Today, I combine faith and beauty through everything I do — from my book and podcast Crowned with Luce to my one-day workshop Faithful Beaute, where I teach women how to align inner faith with outer beauty. Every makeup brush, photo, or message I share is rooted in one truth — that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

What excites me most is seeing women light up when they realize their worth doesn’t come from the mirror or the world’s standards, but from the God who created them. I’m also developing new creative projects that continue to blend faith, beauty, and purpose in fresh and meaningful ways — all designed to remind women of who they are in Christ.

My goal is to inspire transformation that lasts beyond the makeup chair — helping women walk in confidence, purpose, and divine grace.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been faith, perseverance, and excellence in my craft.

Faith has been my foundation. It’s what keeps me centered when things don’t go as planned and reminds me that every closed door is just redirection, not rejection. My advice to others is to invite God into every part of their journey — He will guide your steps far better than your own plans ever could.

Perseverance taught me not to give up when things felt uncertain. This industry can be unpredictable, but consistency and a willing heart will open doors at the right time. Keep showing up, even when no one’s watching.

And finally, excellence — whether it’s artistry, business, or communication, never stop learning and improving. Excellence honors God. Take classes, study your field, and stay teachable. The more you grow, the more you’ll have to give.
