Meet LuvLi

We were lucky to catch up with LuvLi recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi LuvLi, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
Knowing that there is something more in this world other than just what is seen “50 feet” ahead of me. There is too much to explore and too much to learn from. So the inquisitive part of me… keeps me looking up. The trials I go through.. I seek a positive learning point from it that keeps me looking up.. I am hopeful & look for the best within all things. So my optimism from failure disappointment or curiosity believing there is something positive in every down situation.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Sooo..I am a recording artist, vocal arranger, & songwriter! I am focused on this as well as opening my chain business currently. I have gotten everything in order and in line with the business side, just currently seeking a location in a few areas so that I may embark on this journey. Scary to say the least because you do not know what to expect, but extremely exciting to see what will come from this. Be looking out for HeadBar 365 coming to an area near you to give you the ultimate self care and relaxing treatments that will have you coming back weekly!!

As far my music, I have been in the game for some years now. I landed my first hit dance single under Moody records in 2004 which hit the billboards and has been streaming strong ever since and we are now signed with Sony. This particular song has been ALL over TikTok.. IG..Fb with over 2 billion streams and I am truly thankful for my fanbase and supporters. In recent years I have been focusing on R&B and World music which you can find on my website: www.soluvli.com or you can Google me: LuvLi and find me there!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities that were impactful were rejection, denial, perseverance… advice that I can convey is so cliche… but do NOT give up. Do not let anyone tell you that you can not, that it will not work, that “they” do not see the benefit or vision from it… as they won’t because it is yours.. not theirs and this is only jealousy speaking from them hoping you do not succeed. Denial is so strong as we will get in our own way of what we need to do and deny the fact that we need to go harder and or tune everyone out so that we can thrive. Denial in knowing we have the truth right in front of us of what we need to do ..where to go  and asserting that it is not true. *STOP THAT* Perseverance … just doing what you know you need to do  despite the difficulty or delays in achieving your success. Delays.. such as PROCRASTINATION…So I always say… if it is on your mind to do it the day you thought about it.. do it that day as tomorrow holds another set of events, pop ups, tasks, set-backs, come-ups and so on that are waiting for you. If you wait to do what was meant for you to do in that moment of thought.. you will more than likely miss your chance. So continue to fight for your dreams, music, that business, whatever venture it is.. and thrive. Move like no one is watching you.. and hit em with the BANG once your done. xoxoxoxo

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
The only small challenge I have is what probably a good 95% of the population has…and that is getting in my own way on things. Definitely not speaking for everyone just from my circle and a few other power people that I look up to.. we get in our own way and it is totally normal but I suggest you do NOT stay here long. People have a tendency of overthinking methods, instances, moves and so forth and will miss/overshoot the opportunity and back away from it out of fear! This is all too common when you are walking in the “unknown” but the great thing about walking in the unknown.. is that if you were brought this far.. it is clearly meant for you to keep going just make sure that all things are strategic and make sense rather than impulsive thinking and actions that will cost you later.

I wrote a song called I Can Do Anything… and I believe we all can if we just get out of our own way and trust the process~
