We recently connected with LuzCelenia Arce and have shared our conversation below.
Hi LuzCelenia, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I developed my confidence and self-esteem through practice and presence. I realized early on that confidence doesn’t just appear. I had to cultivate it by showing up, fully, even when I felt scared or unsure. That means being brave, taking action, and leaning into experiences rather than waiting to “feel ready.”
A big part of my journey has been my sensual practice. Reconnecting with my body, honoring my desires, and allowing myself pleasure has been revolutionary. It taught me that my worth isn’t something I earn, it’s something I inhabit. Confidence, for me, grew in the space where I moved, felt, and expressed myself unapologetically. Every time I showed up for myself, I stepped a little further into my power, and over time, that became unshakable self-esteem.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m LuzCelenia, a liberation and embodiment coach, singer, and healing artist. My work centers on helping people reclaim themselves after trauma especially survivors of narcissistic and religious abuse through embodiment, pleasure, and self-expression. What excites me most is witnessing people reconnect with their bodies, desires, and confidence, and seeing the spark of freedom that comes from fully inhabiting themselves.
As a singer and performer, I bring that same healing energy to the stage, using music as a way to connect, transform, and inspire. Through my platform, Charm City Live Music, I shine a light on Baltimore’s local music scene and celebrate artists representing the Diaspora. I love creating spaces where music, culture, and storytelling intersect to uplift communities and honor diverse voices.
Through The Radiant Sessions, I offer coaching, workshops, and immersive retreats that blend sensuality, embodiment, and self-discovery. I’m currently expanding my programs to include group coaching, digital resources, and in-person retreats that guide people toward confidence, pleasure, and embodied freedom. I also host events like A Night of Rapture, where music, poetry, and conversation meet to explore love, intimacy, and healing in real time.
My work is for anyone ready to take bold steps toward reclaiming themselves, leaning into pleasure, and embracing who they are without compromise whether on the stage, in the bedroom, or in their everyday life.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are self-awareness, resilience, and the ability to connect deeply with others.
First, self-awareness…Understanding my own patterns, triggers, and values has been the foundation for everything else. Without this, it’s easy to get caught in external expectations or old habits.
If you want to develop self-awareness start by observing yourself without judgment. Journaling, meditation, or reflective practices can help you notice what lights you up, what drains you, and where you’re unconsciously holding yourself back. Over time, self-awareness becomes a compass for your decisions.
Second, would be resilience. Life will test you, often in ways you didn’t expect. Resilience isn’t about never falling; it’s about learning to rise and grow each time.
Develop or strengthen your resilience by seeking discomfort in controlled ways—try new challenges, speak your truth in small ways, and embrace failure as feedback, not a verdict. Surround yourself with mentors and supportive communities who model resilience.
Lastly, deepening my connection with others. Building meaningful relationships has been essential for learning, growth, and healing. Knowing how to listen, empathize, and hold space for others has amplified my impact.
To have those kinds of relationships you will need to practice active listening, curiosity, and generosity. Pay attention to the people who bring out the best in you, and invest time in nurturing those connections.
In short, the combination of knowing yourself, enduring and growing through challenges, and connecting authentically with others has shaped my journey. For those starting out, I’d say: invest in your inner life, don’t shy away from hard lessons, and never underestimate the power of genuine human connection. If you’re struggling doing that work on your own don’t be afraid to find a therapist and/or a coach that can help you on your journey to wholeness.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Absolutely would love to collaborate with artists, healers, and creators who are aligned with authenticity, community, and transformation. For The Radiant Sessions, that means folks who are passionate about healing, embodiment, sensuality, and personal liberation—coaches, facilitators, musicians, writers, or anyone bringing a fresh, conscious perspective to supporting people’s growth and self-discovery.
For Charm City Live Music, I want to partner with musicians, performers, and local talent who represent the richness and diversity of Baltimore and the Diaspora. Artists who bring soul, energy, and storytelling to the stage; those who want to connect deeply with their audience and shine a light on the local scene.
In both spaces, I’m drawn to collaborators who value intentionality, inclusivity, creativity, and a commitment to leaving people feeling inspired, seen, and uplifted. If you’re someone who wants your work to create impact while celebrating artistry and liberation, we’ll likely be a great fit. You can contact me via email at [email protected] or [email protected].
