Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Machel Hunt . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Machel , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My work ethic comes from seeing my mother work at her job everyday and still made time for my siblings and I. My mother was a single mother of 4 and she made sure we had everything we needed (emotionally and financially). I saw her work ethic and how it created a safe space for us. That always stood out to me and I learned how to be an impactful worker who also creates balance in my life for work and personal time.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three most important qualities, skills that have been most impactful in my career are 1. Commitment to the process and to myself. 2. A curiosity to continue learning, growing and expanding. 3. Flexible towards change and embracing the challenges. I would advise anyone interested in having a successful entrepreneurial business to maintain a healthy balance with all areas of your life. It can’t all be about work and business. Take care of your mental health and continue learning new skills.
How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client would be an individual or a couple who are committed to learning new ways of becoming a better version of themselves and ready to heal. Therapy can be challenging and you have to do the work, there is no magic wand or switch that your therapist can use. Someone who is willing to be consistent and to commit to the process of therapy.
